I’ve only posted 10 times on the SAA board, mostly saying I agree with Sanchez, or that ADVT/NFC might need to sweeten the deal a bit and that ultimately it will hopefully go through!

Can’t help but feel a touch disappointed with this. This being the most disappointing statement in there, albeit not a surprise to me after my concerns earlier this week wondering if we’ll ever see the data:

“We now anticipate receiving the Phase 2 data from the ACTIV-2 team in the summer of 2022”.

I cannot fathom why the delays with this. Anyone have any ideas?

Other than that, I’m not surprised we have fell back into the 20’s. I said if it was just the cash position and more “we’re in discussions” that the market would not like that. Let’s hope they have something for the AGM.

Looks like he (or his source) is guessing. But I’ll be very happy if we are multiple pounds in a matter of weeks.

Did he elaborate on why he thinks £’s in weeks?

ThinShins - tomorrow isn’t the AGM. I’ll be going to that if time permits. I’ve already been given the OK by my custodian.

Tomorrow is just an update on the company financials and general update. But if I was them and they had any good news, I’d be getting it out there before the AGM. They don’t want a load of angry shareholders baying for blood!

NFC share price came off, so that won’t have helped, effectively meaning the price of the bid is reduced.

No, on a serious note unfortunately not. Although I’m not too bothered. I think we have enough cash to get by in the immediate term. If we get on a platform trial we should still be OK, IMO.

If we go for our own trial (which I don’t see happening) then we’d have to raise cash. But I think a lot of investors would have to give it some serious thought about if they wanted to plough yet more money in.

I honestly don’t think we’ll hear much tomorrow. A very general update and nothing more.

Or maybe HSD, did you think I meant the BOD might be physically setting alight bank notes, LOL?!

HSD - just so we're clear, do you know what i.e. means? Or a figure of speech?

Regardless, call it whatever you like... they are getting through the cash!

Or perhaps in your world we managed to get an EUA, sell SNG001 and make some money? Or that we don't have very expensive salaries to pay? And that the grid has agreed to provide electricity for free?

Sometimes I think posters like HSD and FTC are worse than the Burstead's of this world.

Because they have bills and salaries to pay.

They are most definitely burning through the cash. How fast? We'll find out tomorrow.

I read that as they'll be an RNS in the morning with all the FY numbers and a few lines as the general update. We know the numbers won't look great, i.e. we aren't making any money and are burning through the cash.

But let's hope those few lines for the general company update are meaningful.

Bruce - that might just be 20% of Tommoclarke's fun portfolio? And he might have 20% in SNG but the other 80% spread around dozens of stcoks. Sure, he still has a bit of stock specific risk, but his portfolio/savings might be growing fast with a load of disposable income. We don't know his circumstances and comments like yours are slightly offensive.

I'd completely forgot my last tranche of shares I bought was to try and day trade!

I'd also forgot that SNG's SP is like watching Bambi try to skate uphill... it's a real struggle and invariably slides backwards! :D

And here they are, ready to **** on everyone’s chips.

Fully expecting Burstead, Dumbpunter, Sangijuelas to turn up. And maybe even a guest appearance from Tiger!

Maybe Pfizer have being mulling over the ATS presentation data and decided SNG is worth a £5 per share punt. Or put another way, about 1% of their profits over the last couple of years.

I’ll be happier if we can hold onto these gains and not lose them!

I’m trying to temper my optimism here. I thought after the ATS presentation when the SP sailed over 40p we were back in business. Then it fell back to 28p!

Let’s hope there is some news backing this move up and that it sustains it and more.

It's certainly a decent move relative to what the SP has been doing very recently.

Sure, SNG "expect" it by mid-year, but surely even by their own slow standards they thought they might be giving themselves quite a bit of wiggle room in that estimate. And yet the way it is going, we might not have the data even by end of next month!
