Thanks, DocD. That being the case, if SNG were unsuccessful with getting on STRIVE, we'd be justified in wanting to know why.

Do we know approximately how many triallists we expect there to be on STRIVE? Or is it very much open ended?

Tommy - I don't think I was expecting dramatic gains, but equally I'm surprised to have seen us drift lower and lower despite the reasonably frequent flow of good news. The plus side of this has been that I've been able to top up!

If you'd had a crystal ball and seen that list of positive news back in April, you'd never have thought we'd be down at 16p. I'd have probably said 50p+.

With the SP seemingly refusing to budge (despite all the recent good news), potential new investors or those looking from afar could be forgiven this company is dead in the water and with nothing going for it. So I thought it would be good to recap all of the recent positive news events:

- Presentation at ECCMID
- Presentation at ATS conference
- Positive AGM
- Collaboration on UNIVERSAL trial with Janssen, who are backed by Johnson & Johnson, the large pharma co in the world ($430bn market cap)
- Positive finding from SG015 trial
- Positive long Covid data
- Dr Felicity Gabbay, who has a solid reputation, joining the board, along with other job adverts
- Positive ACTIV-2 P2 data
- Representatives of both UK NIHR and US NIH recommending that SNG001 be trialled in a larger, phase 3 trial

I think it's fair to say that the BOD have kept up their end of the bargain when they said at the AGM they are working on a number of things. Now we need that bit of luck to get on a trial and hopefully realise the true value here.

I said pre sprinter that the SP would be £10 or 10p depending on a positive a negative result. Sadly it was the latter and sure enough we bottomed out at 10p.

I now see this 0p or £2.50+. We either drift along, burning through the remaining cash and either ceasing to exist or being diluted out of existence. Or they get on another trial, at which point I just don't see SNG seeing it through to the end, with a TO attempt surely coming in. If it was a decently high bid, surely Polygon and co would be pushing for it to be accepted.

Tommy - for starters it would have been nice to had statistically significant results. 86% sounds great, and really might be, but we’re talking small numbers… 1 vs 7 on 220 patients.

We all know we need a much larger trial for SNG001 to prove itself beyond doubt. The news today surely helps our chances here. And looking at the SP today, it seems the market agrees. Although I don’t know how we’ve had all this flow of positive news, be it average or amazing, and be at 16p :/

I can see my raiding the piggy bank for another top up at this rate…

My first thoughts? Fairly average, but then I didn’t expect them to be mind blowing results. Nice to see the US says it merits a phase 3 trial and just got to hope we get on one. I just feel that SNG001
needs a monstrously big trial for it to really be proven.

I think DMC was joking but I don’t see the SP moving dramatically north on the back of this.

Docdaneeka - RM did seem a bit subdued but I put that down to the fact that Katie’s looks appear to have taken a turn for the worse!

The negative posters out in force but nothing has changed.
We knew before this RNS that we need something like a trial or JV?

Cash position is ok and if we don’t have something game changing by Q4 2023, then we probably won’t ever have anything.

Mani - I stand by the phrase terminal. If we don’t get some very good news then Synairgen, as we know it today, will cease to exist. Or at least the value of our shares will! But again, I’m positive, hence increasing my holding significantly post February. But I’m also realistic that this is anything but a done deal.

Or maybe it’s just my own expectation management kicking in again.

I’ve a gut feeling we’ll learn a little bit more on Thursday than just a “we’re continuing analysis of trial data, trying to get on a trial, and oh, we have £10-15m left in the bank…”.
