All seems a bit odd to me, how long this is taking. But, as I have said previously, this sector is not one I know particularly well. However, it is taking so long that perhaps there is some kind of JV being lined up.
If they were bad, I think they’d just tell the market and be done with it. At least, that is my glass half full way of looking at things.

No, I don’t think they’ll stand in the way but it’s all bureaucracy and will cause delays.

ID78 - firstly, everyone is guessing.

But why September? Well:

- previous track record of Mongolian government working slowly.
- yes, things have apparently changed, but this declared "matter of national importance" is already nearly a month old...doesn't seem quite so urgent, does it? Maybe let's dial 999.
- we were told 1-3 months from some unknown date in October 2022, so latest end of January. Again, a deadline/timeline missed.
- "circulated to other relevant ministries in advance of submission to cabinet to" - as Curious says, presumably by having to circulate to other ministries in advance says to me that these also need to give it their sign off, otherwise why not bypass them?
- MB tries to dress things up in a positive way, but never delivers. So I take his operational update with a pinch of salt.

If it is September, so be it. I'll continue holding.

Best guess for this to be signed off and LP delivered to us is now around September!

I remember many of the more positive posters saying they'd be getting concerned/frustrated if there was nothing by end of April. The market is having its say today.

If you truly believe LP is coming, then don't worry what the more negative posters say. As Curious says, it means they are creating an opportunity for you to top up on the cheap, so what's the problem?
