Ibiza28 - it is not as straightforward as you say.

There are rules on trade reporting, for example, trades above a certain sizer or multiple of the NMS can delay reporting to as late as the next day, so there might be a giant sell that we do not yet know about. Equally, the market maker(s) may well know there is a large buyer or seller, or someone filling an 'ice berg' order.
Those with level 2 access can sometimes work out how the SP might react to certain size orders by looking at the depth on the order book. But not all orders might be on there.

I think it is easy to over complicate things sometimes. I really do think this is just a case of time passing by (again) with no firm news on the LP. Monday is a prime day for a positive RNS to land and it looks likely that April is going to pass by with no LP. Perhaps there are short term traders that have decided to cash out.

*interesting to read today who is antagonising the board so that it descends into chaos once more.

People need to read up on NMS, of which MATD's is 50k shares.

You need to use a different broker. There are plenty of shares on the order book available to buy.

SP is declining because it has risen on hope and expectation that LP is coming. The longer it drags on, the SP will likely fall back. This is not a deramp, just fact that yet another month has nearly passed us by without any confirmation of LP.

I suppose SP could drop back. But then I don’t think it bounced from 7p to 16p because of a rumour on strive.
Maybe Synairgen were informed some weeks back they weren’t going to be on strive, or at least the second agent, and decided to initiate plan B, which we’ll find out more about on Thursday.

All speculation and guess work, of course.

Let’s hope we still get on strive, and that the third agent doesn’t have to wait as long as the second did.

You were the biggest “deramper” on here prior to the 6th December company presentation, where it seems you decided it was an opportunity to turn to premier ramper (LP = 20p+!) and get out of MATD with minimal losses as “probably the largest shareholder in MATD on here”, LOL.

An investor can be negative on a stock but still find it interesting and want to be kept apprised of all developments, just in case they do want to take a position. In addition, they might be negative on balance but accept that the risk/reward ratio is worthwhile of an investment.

I think it is healthy to have opinions from all sides, both positive and negative. For the rampers, don’t be offended or take offence.

For me, investing is as much a hobby as anything else. I like trying to sniff out a good stock. Hopefully one day I’ll be better at it!

I was interested to know if the likes of an AstraZeneca would announce any JVs/partnerships with small pharma/biotechs in its full year results and AGM, so I had a look at last years statement (April 29th 2022) and found this:

“ In April 2022, AstraZeneca and Harbour BioMed (HBM) committed to a global out-license agreement for HBM7022, a pre-clinical bispecific antibody targeting Claudin18.2 and CD3. AstraZeneca will be granted an exclusive global license for research, development, registration, manufacturing, and commercialisation of HBM7022.

HBM shall receive an upfront payment of $25m with the potential for additional payments up to $325m pending achievement of certain development, regulatory and commercial milestones. HBM is also eligible to receive tiered royalties on net sales.”

I had a look to see if any RNS had been released by AZN in April 2022 and could find nothing. However, it does look like HBM did announce it themselves on 7th April.

Not suggesting anything with SNG here. Just wanted to find out if BP do announce such things in their results and AGM. And it appears they do.

AJ316, that’s not quite true. They’ve been released anywhere between February and May (see below). However, I still find it potentially interesting because AFAIK they could’ve delayed the AGM by 30 days (I’m reading from the first AGM?) if they needed more time to get some good news, because let’s face it, it ain’t gonna be a particularly nice AGM If they have nothing! Unless, if they haven’t got anything, they have decided F it, get it out of the way and be done with it. But I’m expecting some news one way or another, be it positive or negative.

Master, that’s just not true and you know it.

I’m not sure what else I can say, other than I am more hopeful than not, but that I still see plenty of things that could go wrong. Perhaps it’s having been on the wrong end of a few “guaranteed” winners in the past. But MATD has been stuck on this LP for a long time now and it would be (IMO) unwise to assume it’s a done deal until that RNS arrives. I am a genuine investor, long on MATD with no hidden agenda. And if it comes off (15p+ etc) then I’ll be a very happy man whose retirement just got a bit closer.

Master, I’m not sure why my last post warranted the abuse. But just for you, I’ll repost again what I said yesterday and many times before.
