Ftse dividend or value stocks have been dogs for years. Undervalued IMO, but still terrible relative performers for decades now.

mani, i think we have to accept that mistakes were made (be it synairgen or the powers that be) and our p3 trial failed. the data imo is still good and i think our drug works, but the hard facts are that bp are not going to pay £billions or even 100’s of £millions as we are now.

no, we are back at the start line, maybe with better knowledge of how to run the race, but at the start nonetheless. it’s all about blowing the doors off with the p2’s and putting us in the best possible position to negotiate a jv or sale so that another p3 can be taken on.

we have three options. if you don’t believe in the drug anymore, sell up and bank the loss. if it’s outside of a pension or isa you can use the losses to offset gains elsewhere. or if you believe it could still be a success hold. and if you still really believe in it, top up and get the average in price down.

it’s a ****ty situation, no doubt, and one that has been going on for nearly two years now. but i’ve made my peace with it.

Dozzawba - I did filter WOS. I think he is the only person I’ve ever filtered on LSE. Then he followed me over to another board simply to troll and s1ag me off! He does that quite a bit.

After that, I unfiltered him. You know, keep your friends close and all that.

On MATD, disappointing to see it dragging on. MB to me quite clearly tried to set our expectations that this year was a no go. Here’s to hoping it’s sorted in Q1 2024.

I can only put down the toxic nature of this board to the fact many here on sat on massive losses. But I’ve had my own fair share of them and don’t act like this.

I’m confused, how are we getting all this positive news flow and SP action when Roger said SW and POW have been doing nothing but schmoozing with the Saudi’s and having the odd jolly in the US doing flip chart presentations?

Mani - You’ve confused me. I’m saying that if we pass the P2’s, the SP should rerate. Hypothetically, let’s say to 30-50p. From there we can negotiate better JV terms with a BP to help/fund a P3, obviously giving up a slice of the pie and any future revenue. But it should equate to more than 7p or even 50p.
