Fruits you're such a predictable old duffer. I invested 3 years ago because of SG016 - as almost all of us did. My comments about the AZ hookup were to rebut Td's specious and inaccurate suggestions abiut the relationship between the 2 companies between 2014 & 16. If AZ really had faith they'd have hung around - and helped to redesign the trial, but they didn't even wait for the deep dive before high-tailiing it out.
Hopefully they and others are more impressed by the more recent data

If the major BP sponsor - prepared 2 years earlier to commit up to $230m and rename the drug to put its own stamp on it, halts the P2 trial halfway through, drops it like a stone and walks away immediately - then that is a failure. It was reported as such at the time and so it remains all these years later. Quibble it any way you like.
SNG's reputation has recovered in the years since - partially with COPD and then of course majorly for Covid, but Asthma/AZ will not featureon the highlights reel (unless AZ is out there lurking and looking to return as Sharedealer keeps hinting - or a future Asthma trial succeeds )

AZ didn't spend anywhere near $300m on Synairgen in 2014 - they had a carefully weighted payment plan and might have paid as much as $232m if Asthma and then COPD had trialed successfully - but the first Asthma trial failed and that was that.

Interesting that all 38 trial sites are recruiting. Not bad going considering the first patient for Shionogi was announced on Feb 16th. More sites to be added I think and they'll be needed as admissions drop.
Hope they've made good progress already as US Hospitalisations are dropping towards all time lows - with circa 15k new weekly admissions, 1.5k in ICU and 230 daily deaths. Increasingly higher proportion of deaths in at-risk groups compared to the general population. Can expect very low numbers everywhere as the warm weather arrives - unless a dangerous new variant pops up.

Prof - yes thanks I followed the advice and have been using the TENS machine - grateful to you and others for suggesting it. Still have the sciatica unfortunately - largely unchanged despite physio and daily exercise, but understand it may take 6 to 9 months and I'm still within the window.

I can only find reference to this from Aussie sites and in Aus at least it appears they are issued by the stock market regulators and properly called price queries. In Aus at least the company itself would have no role to play in the issuing of such a notice

What I object to Fruits is the juvenile nature of the exchanges. Yours in particular adding nothing to the quality of this bb. 8 different posters piling in and then Axe answering each of them individually doesn't leave much room for the posters who might want to enjoy the day.

People talking about 90% rises need to look at the 6 month or 1 yr charts which show that the sp's trading range has been in the low to mid teens for a long while. The drop into single digits is a recent and largely inexplicable drop that started in late Feb.
Strong likelihood now is that there is nothing significant incoming but that a major player has just decided 8-12p is a ridiculous low point and wants a piece of it.

Question Can anyone calculate how much has been invested to get us from 10p at 1.30pm yesterday to 16p at 4pm today ? Is this discoverable ?

I've just deleted my identical post Doc83. Of course it's great that preparedness funding is secure and that Warp has a successor - but to suggest it's in any way positive for SNG is ridiculous. Particularly with the areas of interest so clearly delineated, and when we know that the fully funded trial that might include SNG is already up and running .
It's bad news for Synairgen that the lessons learnt from C-19 compel them to pursue more vaxes and more Mabs and do not include host-targeted treatments
Eric Topol says nasal vaccines could be ready and in use by the end of 2024 - plenty of work already underway in many countries, and if they stop entry then host-directed or conventional spike protein Vaxes or therapeutics may be largely redundant.

We don't need further funding to be unlocked. STRIVE is fully funded and if they don't want SNG on that inpatient Covid 19 trial there's no reason to suspect they'll want it on anything else.

Well you were banging on about deaths on the placebo arm the other day. How the ventilators kept the placebo patients alive at 7 and 14 day. Those stats seemed to matter to you then

With respect Tommy you're the one who can't move on. An EUA for a new drug in hospitals affects SNG's chances of a new trial and of proving statistical significance in that trial. This is self evidently true.
Synairgen would have got much closer to the magic number if it had chosen death as an endpoint for Sprinter.

We can't have it both ways. Either our post hoc is better than the Gohibic (as has been stated on here today) and we should have had the same EUA conversations as InflaRX, or it isn't as good as we think it is.
