I thought it was suspended....
bandit - totally agree.
True a few lithium stocks have had a trim (along with many other asset classes) but none to the extent as BCN which is self made. Or is he basically saying we're the worst company of the lot!
There may (or may not) be cheaper methods looming on the horizon. However this doesn't happen overnight and BCN is stilled well placed to move on current methods and technology so that argument doesn't worry me.
I'm proper annoyed at how they've handled the remaining financing of the project tbh. which needs to be resolved. As the share price dives I'm sure it must be getting harder to get a deal over the line that existing (big) shareholders are happy with.
We shall see but whoever instigated the method of financing does need to be dealt with as it appears like they're a bunch of amateurs. Disappointing as a few months ago it felt close to be getting somewhere.
Still holding (since AIM listing)
Yep. Never like after an hours RNS
The interesting thing is I read into the canning of the placing was due to market volatility... I. E. Too cheap as the share price dropped too quickly. I'm guessing but the big investors didn't like the idea of others getting in too cheap. Tbh I really don't know but what has happened is the mess up has left BCN an easy target for shorting. No reason for me to sell at this level but we do need some positive news. Also by producing that report Morgan Stanley have created it harder to get finance.... so could affect the market so that less is produced as the new players can't produce, which'll help out existing producers.
Nice... any ideas of the contract value?
A good explanation Janiax.
This goes on at all companies (including FTSE100) to reward employees etc. and cannot be negatively spun in the same way as a funding dilution. It's not the same thing! I think we'd be all happy if the directors had future options at 10p.... gives them a target.
I was only annoyed at the recent placing price.... not the fact there was a placing. There will be future placings but provided the money is used to add mcap much greater than the placing amount then thats fine with me. In my experience it happens in all explorers until they can either sell the asset or raise debt to develop it. Can't see that GWMO is any different.
Own a sizable (for me) chunk in both MRS and URU. URU is about the price I payed for it.... regretted not selling loads at 4p but thats life hey! URU has been quiet and is due some news but as with all aim explorers comes with an element of risk. Both seem interesting plays to me... I do like MRS though. Seem to be quietly getting on with running a business and hopefully has a positive future
Thanks! I like your optimism too. GLA
Any ideas about today's rns... I don't understand what it really means
