Not having a nomad appointed is beginning to become irritating and should have been resolved by now.

I hold my MRS shares in my ISA. I've just received a notice from my provider that if they are suspended then my shares cannot be held in ISA so will be transferred out to a standard account. In order to keep my ISA allocation the only option i seem to have is to sell.

Sorry I didn't read your post but for some reason my RNS alert chopped off the bottom with the comparison to guidance.

I never like a RNS on a Friday! Overall not disastrous but a bit disappointing.

Is production in line with expectations?

This debt issue is not a problem here.

A factor to also consider is that debt can often be a less expensive alternative to equity placing due to tax deductibility of interest payments. Also worth noting that the time value of of debt Vs placings is much smaller (i.e. inflation reduces the debt requirement rather than crystallising it by a placing).

Often companies equity place simply because they have no way of servicing their debt... MRS is cash generative so doesn't need to place.

If you can't service your debt then I agree the company is done for. If it's used to expand the company generating more revenue then the cost of the debt then is better than a placing imo and will achieve a higher long term return. Most successful companies have some form of debt which is often more beneficial than tying up their own capital

Yep. Agreed. Since this launched on day 1 on Aim funding it through to production was always the ultimate question. I was kinda hoping they'd manage it with debt... especially so with the various off take agreements over the years. I'm hoping resolution 10 is plan B but is looking more likely the only plan.

Well the placing route must be most likely... can't remember the exact figure they're after but wasn't it around the 100-125m mark?

My bet is Blackrock know about a placing. Resolution 10 looks pretty clear to me that the placing option is on the table. Be interesting to know what the Oman fund etc think...

Well the seller is slowly going... now under 3 % holding so won't be too long till that's cleared. Then its onwards and upwards

I'm really confused and lost on the kdnc holdings. When they sold did their holdings drop below 5% or 7%? This rns implies they've bought which can't be true so must be filled incorrectly... and should they be informing kdnc shareholders of buying or selling of strategic assets?

I remember 1.8p as I did my final top up after the fall from 13p. They were tough times!

Any doubters out there now? For BHP this is a remarkably friendly deal. Can only get better imo Great stuff

I've never seen an RNS like this before. I wonder if they think there has been some underhand dealings going on that hasn't followed AIM rules? Should Prudential be on the list? Cheers Will

Some good posts with interesting views on both sides. Have topped this afternoon at 10.2p which I think has been listed as a sell. Think even if there is a placing there is good upside to this one.... provided targets are met and cash flow generated. We shall see.
