My admiration for Litter pickers goes without saying, playing an important part, but are often seen wearing high viz apparel made from synthetic threads. Patxaran:Re Bitcoin. Perfectly feasible in theory in practice that’s another matter. Its difficult to give an accurate picture of the 2.5 tpd DMG Unit . So, assuming a daily electricity output of 1,500 kWh I`ll give it ago. The 2.5tpd could support approximately 26 Bitcoin mining rigs (including 20% cooling costs), which would be a small scale operation. DMG approx.cost of £3,750 compared to the grid costs of £8,985.60 to £13,481.60 based on 20-30p per unit and power consumption of 57.6 kWh per day per rig. So could save £5245 - £9731 per day.

PS I’ve been here to long and like your self want a return of confidence with some financial reward thrown in. I’ve been watching Ireland developments for 4+ years only recently being acknowledged. Looking like a connection for hydrogen & electric networks with the Ballymena and Ballylumford sites (balanced Grid). The projects aim to create an energy system where hydrogen production and battery energy storage can work together. Ballylumford still using gas but diversifying energy sources to include hydrogen and battery storage . It contributes approximately 30% of the total electricity supply for Northern Ireland.

Dusty: I’d like to see progress news regarding “Additional equipment to the feedstock testing unit” demonstrating further development from the first build. One or two pipeline updates would certainly project market confidence. Q4 looking more likely for progress news given the time frame from March budget to July offtake updates. The offtake news is significant, a first as far as I can re-member. That said, in this market Q4 would be a fast turnaround.

With higher gate fees on the way. The unknowns, compliance and reporting costs are something that needs clarification but DWP compliance would be a strong selling point: EG. DMG complies with future ETS (Emissions Trading Scheme 2026) and MRV (Monitoring , Reporting & Verification), avoiding the carbon penalty for verified un-recyclable plastic feed stock (hence the push for feed stock testing). Regulators (UK ETS) working alongside DESNZ in support of PHE can only help local permitting authorities by adding trusted operations aligning with DWP data standards. It also reduces compliance risk making DMG plants easier to finance. Its a win win for those with dirty burners or landfill. If PHE can attain these standards is worth more than a one off build. Anyone think that (PHE) will go down the route of "Digital Waste Passports" (DWP). It’s feasible that Engsolve could provide guidance to waste suppliers once the "Extended Producer Responsibility" (EPR) rules bite in 2026.

Swazers: Engsolve’s portfolio spans multiple clean-tech processes, all relying heavily on closed-loop thermal and chemical system design. Eg DMG, Carbon Nanotubes, Bio-Methanol and Aluminium Recycling. There’s a strong theme developing particularly in first of a kind. One twist of the screw and PHE might have more than just DMG (as in Avioxx) to offer. Its a long shot but that shortened list of potential clients may well include first of a kind bolt ons. DYOR

From the 20 May RNS: Engsolve is building a “first-of-a-kind Aluminium Recycling process” for a confidential client. Now consider Siemens recently partnered with Paragon to scale hydrogen from recycled aluminium. No Proof but worth watching.

I agree, the Eunomia report is a solid piece of independent modelling, and it’s encouraging to see DMG bench marked so favorably against other hydrogen pathways, especially when accounting for avoided incineration. It clearly shows promise. But as you rightly say, we’re not at certification yet, and that’s the critical piece. Until life cycle emissions are independently verified under current UK Low Carbon Hydrogen Standard criteria, we’re still operating in the R&D to commercial transition zone. That’s not a criticism, it’s just the reality of where PHE sits today. In that context, I really hope the 2.5tpd system in Wales becomes the test bed that proves full compliance beyond the modelling. If successful, that would be a huge milestone and open the door to serious commercial deployment, both in the UK and internationally. I’m optimistic about the tech, I always have been, but I’m also keen to see the company move from potential to verifiable performance. Investors and partners alike need that transparency.

This could reflect a strategic adjustment considering emissions compliance hurdles, particularly in the UK and Australia, where environmental permitting frameworks are tightening.

Smaller units like the 2.5 tpd DMG may avoid the full regulatory scope that applies to large-scale waste-to-hydrogen plants. At that scale, permitting, lifecycle CO2 analysis, and classification under schemes like the UK Net Zero Hydrogen Standard or Australia's hydrogen certification framework (e.g., H2GO or Guarantee of Origin) can be significantly more streamlined or even exempt at pilot level.

Ballymena and the proposed Australian deployment have both been described as "early commercial" or FEED-stage projects, so emissions performance will be central. If PHE hasn’t yet secured third party life cycle emissions validation for the 40 tpd unit, launching the smaller version could be a way to gain market traction and proof of operation while progressing regulatory certification in parallel. (Noted in RNS Australia £50k- Develop engineering package in parallel with paid FEED (allowing further development via testing at PHE's Technology Center) It's a smart interim strategy, if framed transparently. But the lack of published emissions data or clear regulatory classification leaves open questions. For customers, investors, and even government partners, clarity on these points is no longer optional—it’s commercially essential.

Hope this gives an insight into my thoughts. I maybe right or wrong but my concerns and praises are real.

Swazers@ Been invested in PHE for years. I fully understand the DMG® process and its potential. My concerns aren't about the tech, they're about the continued absence of third-party lifecycle emissions data or published compliance with UK Net Zero Hydrogen standards.

If PHE has hit these targets, it should be shouting it from the rooftops. Instead, we get vague "lower-carbon" phrasing, which doesn’t cut it in 2025. Customers, regulators, and investors now demand verifiable data, not marketing spin.

Engsolve may well embed emissions testing in stages, but if that’s the case, where’s the published evidence? No RNS, no ESG summary, no lifecycle CO₂e numbers, just assumptions.

This isn't spreading doubt, it’s requesting clarity. If PHE has met compliance thresholds, publishing it would benefit the company and shareholders alike.
