yes these broker forecasts are laughable 2,60 2.70 2.80 i think we will be lucky to see 2.20 in a years time in the short term think it could head into the the180s this is four bad days in a week vodaphone is down even yesterday just managed to break even this is one dog a share i am actually beginning to think vodaphone is being derated now and even 200p before ex dividend is not possible

what i do not understand is that there has been some large buys over the past 4 days yet still the share price keeps falling where is the bottom i thought i did well buying at 200p including costs i am not a long term holder of shares no i fear i have a long wait just to get my money back

you said yesterday it will close at 198p and will be around 200p ex dividend date i personally am looking at 204 ex dividend date

there has got to be a change in sentiment for vodafone at the moment a lot of selling pressure at the moment that is 3 straight days ending up in the red from 210 to 196 even positive broker forecasts are not helping i fear we are heading lower thursday and friday but would like to be wrong

i thought i did well buying at 198.5 but now worried that this is heading to 190p the fundamentals of the company dont look to good they have too much debt

last year it consistently went above 200 pence april and may this year we are not seeing that we had a strong share price above 200 pence a few days in january since then it has gradually come down and now struggling to even hold 194 with less than 4 weeks to go to dividend so on that basis i can only see it getting to 198 199 and maybe 200 max i could be wrong and i know many other posters are predicting 208 210 but it is a big ask to get from 193 to 208 that is 15 pence

hello tom we made a good start over 195 but for the third time this week the share price falls by 2pence or more by close this is really frustrating if you had your head screwed on could have made money selling and buying back own shares and i am sure there are many day traders doing this as it is becoming too predicatable now hard to see this getting to 200p by 31 may never mind above this wish i had stuck with itv lol

i think itv is holding up well considering the ftse 100 is down about 45 points wish ii did not sell these now

hi johnson yes it is a risky game selling and buying back i sold taylor wimpey just after collecting the dividend on april 5 at just over 1.86 afterwards the share price kept on rising just my luck lol even hitting 1.95 but now i am back in taylor wimpey at a higher price than i sold tempted to do a sell and buy back but as you say it is better to wait for 1,96 or 1,97

i am surprised at the share price fall same thing happened monday i feel another opportunity to sell and buy back my own shares in the same day and make a profit i have missed it is now becoming to predicatable i just feel any meaningful rise is just going to be sold off difficult to see 200p ex dividend day may 31

you cannot expect a blue day for itv and taylor wimpey everyday tom an experienced investor like yourself would know this have a look at vodafone shares today they are up

the share price just cannot hold 194 it gets there then falls away yes i also think it will just about get to 200p before x dividend day if it does i am going to sell and take my profit if not i think it is better to take the dividend

i am back in again with taylor wimpey the drop yesterday was dissapointing and today very strange flatlining at 192.2 i would have thought with the dividend of 10.4p these would be heading towards 200p

bash you got it right about todays share price finishing 144 despite strong start to over 147 similar thing happened on friday over 147 then fell away two great oppurtunities to short itv shares and buy them back and i missed them both the share price seems stuck in a rut cannot hold 147 bit worried about rest of week could we be looking at 142

i agree with a lot of your comments bash and i myself find it infuriating that a small rise of even 1pence is posted on here with a lot of joy when in fact by market close that rise could have gone as has happened yesterday but this happens time and time again people who are logging on to the bulletin board will know the live price anyway it is right there are people who offer an alternative viewpoint and challenge the status quo

bash you seem to be very knowledgeable about the challenges facing itv yet i find it surprising that a person with your intelllect would hold on to itv from a price of over 2 pounds to the 140s surely the wise thing would have been to sell at a smaller loss than the one you are facing now in the hope you could have made your money back in another companyi myself have traded itv and have gotten out at a loss because i have seen the share price struggling in the past

i do not understand this surely a large buy trade as this will increae the share price infact it is going down

hi riolto i agree it is very slow rise do you not think that there are more gains to be had in this share price as i am surprised by your low target i know other posters have suggested 200p which is laughable but i would have thought 160 -170p could be achieved though i have to admit could take 12 months

hello bashtard sorry to hear of your loss i myself have traded itv shares many times and overall i am at a loss but nothing like the size of your loss i have also bought in again on friday at 1.44 i agree with your comments there are a lot of rampers on this bulletin board with unrealistic price expectations some are suggesting 200p which is laughable i believe there is upside to this share price but i think 160-170p but it is going to be a hard slog and to post that the naked trader has purchased 5000 shares that is a joke what difference is that going to make an investment of less than 7500 pounds most people have never heard of the naked trader
