fourth consecutive day this dog of a share is down every tom dick and harry is waiting to invest in this below 180p way things are going it might get there other quality stocks are up like lloyds and vodafone as always the case i choose the wrong share to invest in

what i find alarming is that the share price has not recovered much from the morning lows whereas lloyds has significantly recovered you can blame the tarriff wars between usa and china but what has that got to do with the housing situation in the uk i wrongly believed that the forward yield of 18.3p a share would underpin a share price of 190p minimum how wrong i was

hello tom i agree that this is a great time to top up but there will be many like me that bought much higher than this price and have no money to top up at these low prices

unfortunately though bash is right about 183p

hello tom i agree 200 pence is possible but it is going to be a long hard slog especially judging by the last week we had friday was especially dissapointing but then the ftse 100 was well down because of the tarriff wars between china and usa hope for a better week this week

heres hopin with the current state of the markets i think 183 is certainly possible again so your order might be fulfilled it is not just taylor wimpey that is suffering but other quality stocks such as lloyds vodafone legal and general to name a few

good recovery from low of 183 to finish above 188 chaps but to be honest i could never have predicted the low of 183 hopefully we do not get there again and hope for a rise tomorrow

hello cm45 with the current predicament of our share price you have to have a laugh but on a more serious note sorrell as chief executive of a ftse 100 company should have been more discreet apparently he was spotted by 2 of wpp employees entering the establishment of ill repute and more importantly he charged the fee of 300 pounds to company expenses which in the context of his net worth was miniscule

yes i am from manchester and like sheffield the police have a relaxed attitude to brothels and there are numerous establishments charging between 40 pounds to 50 pounds for half an hour just waiting for a decent rise with taylor wimpey so i can treat myself i think with the current predicament it could affect my performance if i go now lol

there has just been a large sell of about 250000 shares at under 185p i calculate the person has lost 18750 pounds from the peak price monday of about 192.3 that money could have funded quite a few sessions at the mayfair brothel frequented by martin sorrell

i would disagree with you cm 45 lloyds is at a very attractive entry point just now but my eggs are all in the tw basket just now or rather tw basketcase

if i recollect the low last year was about 173 tommy so the yield would have been about 9 per cent then now it is close to ten per cent

down 6pence monday and tuesday yet can just about post a 1pence rise today absolutely pathetic now not so sure about trading above 190p next week

i would be happy if we finish above 188p by the end of friday get rid of all the weak holders then hopefully a rise back over 190 next week

debacle trade observation looking at that trade it was a profitable one tommy rotten debacle sold taylor wimpey in the morning when they were about 1 per cent down bought boohoo when they were 4 per cent down taylor wimpey sank further boohoo recovered sometimes it is better to leave a sinking ship as with a near ten per yield there is no floor on this dog of a share i taken in by the great 5 year plan have to admit i like a great many others was taken in by the great 5 year plan announced on may 15 now that is what i call a debacle

i agree calisto sometimes you can get it right other times when you try sell and buy your own shares the price moves against you the best thing is just be happy with the price you bought at and sit tight collect the dividends but it is easier said than done sometimes it is tempting to do a trade i just thought with the forward guidance a floor of about 190p would be established how wrong i was i am also wondering with the 5 year plan there is no mention of special dividend after 2019
