Your post was taken down because it was on a thread I started with a post titled pijoe and rifcle.

From my experience it appears that if a particular post is deemed in breach of the rules then the whole thread is taken down which very often includes quite innocuous posts by others. Wellwell being aware of this posted a cut and paste of Ricfle's reply to my original post on a separate thread to preserve it. It still remains.
LSE said the thread was taken down for being off topic and disruptive. There is no doubt that somebody reported one or most posts on the thread.

In order that this post is not deemed off topic I have the following observation:

I am sure everyone remembers RT's statement in the Malcy interview:

"We tried to farm out Lancaster on its own all the interested parties said no - we are only interested in everything"

Given that 'everything' is no longer an option does this new situation put pressure on the majors to make a Lancaster Halifax farm in bid before the EPS test period ends?

Does this provide some clues as to the farm in discussions last year?

I suspect that if an offer was made by whoever they probably wanted 75% or more of the assets and no cash in return for covering the development costs.

This has to be a far better deal.

I never saw that sea trials photo so I was not given the opportunity to make my own assessment of its veracity. I don't know who posted it, or the link to it but I do remember a post by SIPP critical of its publication, and a post by Wessexmario claiming to have carried out checks.

Companies are well aware of social media and if they do not warn their employees against posting sensitive information then on their head be it. If employees ignore warnings given then they have no excuse. If someone choses to put information in the public domain people on these boards have no moral duty to protect the source so why was the photo (or link to it) taken down?

Ricfle asked the shipwatchers to explain and I think he has every right to do so. Was it a hoax?

Around 7.00 this morning the AIS briefly reported "underway" and the reverted to "moored".

Any idea why?

I agree with your comments on the price guidance but there are two points to take issue with.

First he refers to tucking away which suggests little requirement to monitor progress. My view is that all investors need to keep close watch during the first six months because as you said yourself:

" I also speculated that it's the output from the EPS that matters. Then it becomes fairly binary short term. If the results are as modelled then that's the de-risking event. If they are grossly disappointing that's clearly a sell off trigger but none of us will be able to sell quickly enough as the pro's dump HUR shares."

Secondly the adherence to HUR guidance on FOIL timing as is suggests the author is not fully aware of current progress toward FOIL. If he was then in tipping the share he really ought to point out that FOIL is likely to be very early in 19 if not even late 18.

People who claim to be waiting for the sp to drop before buying in are never likely to get an enthusiastic response from holders. Just ask yourself what motivates them before responding.

Nevertheless I did think about selling and buying back when the SP reached 56p but was too fearful of missing out. Damm I could have made 10% but if I had I would not be inclined to boast the fact. I wonder how many on here had the same thoughts and if they did sell have they now bought back.

My interest in this subject is due to the claims that The BoD and Kerogen hold near enough to the 25% blocking vote to prevent a takeover. Such claims do not seem to take account of the reduction of that blocking vote if and when The CB's are converted.
In the run up to FOIL and thereafter if the company commit revenue to further drilling would they have the cash to redeem or pay the cash equivalent? Surely they would have to issue new shares to satisfy any large scale demand for conversion?

On page 14 of the presentation there is an illustration showing the vessels involved with the EPS installation. One of the vessels shown is referred to as guard ship and the image is that of a fishing vessel.
I mentioned this in a post on 10th July. The ship on station then was SearcherBF05. Presently there is an unidentified fishing vessel in the vicinity. Obliviously they rotate. They show up on MT as from and to Peterhead but if you look at past track you will see them patrolling within 1 to 2 miles of the buoy location.

Please correct me if I am wrong but are not voting rights only acquired when the CB's are converted into ordinary shares?

My other thought is that if all the CB's were converted the number of shares in issue increases (obviously notifiable) and presumably the BoD and Kerogens percentage share will reduce to nearer 20%.

I'm not trying to stoke the TO argument , its just a case of understanding the possibilities
