GIGO is very applicable CP - as ChatGPT tells you itself, it's a foundational principle in computing, when I studied Computer Science a few decades ago it was a constantly drummed into us,

AI, machine learning etc. have had influences in the more research based areas of my work for a long while - well before the likes of ChatGPT hit the masses. I used to work with a lot of data and statistics running a market and business intelligence company researching various area, accurate output is absolutely critical.

The purpose of my post is that ChatGPT will suggest good practice for building queries and importantly verifying any output running these queries.

Victor... as some on TG needed reminding given that the group was becoming a constant stream of AI posts some days - the computing principle of Garbage In Garbage Out applies to AI research queries too.

Now, I'm not suggesting that you too are making an argument that AI is infallible, but nonetheless ask ChatGPT the following questions my good man :

1 - "What is GIGO?" (Garbage in , Garbage Out)

2 - Follow this with "is your output infallible?".

3 - Then ask "Does Garbage In, Garbage Out apply to your Output?"

It's a great RNS, unfortunately the unrest has had an effect but such is the joy of investing in such jurisdictions but the team and potential geologically made it a risk worth taking IMO ;-)

Factors might be the structure of the deal, ASX listing and consolidation all playing a part in accelerating this.

9, if you look at general trends for stocks newly included on ASX200 there is generally a positive effect as in rise.

What I don't like to do is go beyond 1 quarter and then rely too much on asx inclusion alone as a primary factor on SP action - for the simple reason that there are various other factors at play.

We're the next quarterly results disappointing, is it a tech company and that tech sector itself just experienced poor sentiment etc. etc

You would need to devote some serious time and effort to trying to find trends and I think you would still struggle akin to how Lobo's team have with their PPSS study.

Charles Archer had suggested that 15th to 19th might be when the buying pressure kicks in for ASX200.

He's not just a writer but works in the industry and where he doesn't know something he is well connected.

Of course anything can go against what usually happens but it might be next week when we see some real action.

Short term there does seem to be a correlation with positive SP action when a stock is added but if course moving further out you're then introducing individual company and sector sentiment to the mix so harder to establish meaningful trends.

Similar to the PPSS study by Lobo Tigre where his team identified trends on various parameters but failed to find what specific factors were most influential in a pre production to commercial production rise.

It's a very hard sector in some regards to study statistically...

What I'm saying 9 is that any feasibility study for any complex and large project explores a range of scenarios around costs and timescale and IMO it seems commonplace that mining projects tend to experience issues as the norm- you seem to be suggesting this would be seen as disastrous while I think it's seen as BAU.

Also that Telfer updates if as expected will sway the market over to understanding that there is enough life in the old gal to take a far more relaxed and optimised approach to Havieron that in the longer term will be more beneficial. So any 'delays' to what is understood to be the current timeline will be deemed positive and correct.

A shift in mindset is required around the above IMO and also in terms of perhaps there being sound scenarios where Shaun might tap into the debt funding and this may also be positive - perhaps because other inorganic growth opportunities are pursued or it makes sense for other reasons. Stating that HAvieron might not need funding is more about showing that is an option so the debt funding isn't a necessity IMO - it's not a pledge to not consider utilising it for a host of good reasons...

Why would anyone expect a DFS to be 100% accurate in forecasted costs and timescales in any industry - there is a reason PM techniques involve continual assessment and replanning - aquifers or no aquifers. Given this is a complex underground mine I expect it more likely to see some delays and cost thresholds hit - this should be expected and not seen as deramping.

What we should hopefully see from GGP in the months ahead is definitive proof and pathways to Telfer LOM increasing and better grade ore perhaps and all combining to make the market understand that there isn't a pressing need to 'sprint' the development of Havieron as there was under NCM's stewardship. Hindsight makes me now wonder if NCM's plan wasn't always just to sell Telfer and Hav before NEM came along as these assets are just more suited to the current scenario.

Given what has just occurred around the results it is imperative moving forward that any reports are technically sound and pass any muster from more sophisticated insto's, wyloo and the banking syndicate in case it is deemed appropriate to tap into debt funding. There are plenty of scenarios where partly utilising debt makes sense . When Shaun boasts about ther likely not being a need to utilise debt for Havieron it doesn't guarantee he might not consider it for GOOD reasons.

Too many narrative's being created on what the most ideal scenarios are moving forward given we've already seen a complete shift from Telfer being ear EOL to potentially being a cash cow for a decade or so further. Growth in any industry is always better when done slowly and responsibly and there are always certain thresholds a growing company should work within.

I don't know this particular industry well enough to know those parameters specifically but there are some universal rules in business management. I mean is it really important for a growing company to want to run telfer at full capacity which surely involves more staff, more maintenance, more load on the infrastructure than build the production profile up more slowly getting the infrastructure and manpower in place - gradually while building an every more robust financial and technical foundation?

At does Havieron not have less urgency if Telfer LOM and grades can be improved as new zonations of ore are more technically and financially viable short term to look at a more optimised and less rushed approach on developing Havieron - larger stockpiles, more time and money on making it more ESG friendly and a host of other things around planning for both the starter mine and future expansion?

I suspect so... it's not about growing quickly now, rushing Havieron - it's about building sound foundations so you build a stronger company over time. I'm not even considering another discovery if it comes from us or others and we already have Antipa floating around.

The landscape has changed - Havieron doesn't need to be rushed and I'm sure the market will understand why soon :-))

well as charles archer is collecting questions for an interview mine were:

- meaningful update on han**** is a priority now in terms of what they plan on doing, are previous talks ongoing etc. can they share timelines and/or potential deal structures of any kind at this stage?

- what can they communicate to ensure this isn’t yet another cycle of 'new management-portfolio review-new strategy-new priorities- new talks' etc. no one wants to hear all that again - show that there will be continuity of the recent momentum with eh vs yet another ‘new start’ especially given the wce links.

- they need to address the nepotism and explain why it’s healthy vs questionable as there will naturally be concerns of potential cheap takeovers/mergers etc. that might not favour alien holders as much as wce.

Come on Freddo - I sell my GGP shares on today's price - I will close more profits than you'll ever make on the markets and before you go on, sure I could have made more selling in 2020 but some of us have done very well in various ventures where it doesn't affect our lifestyle in any way.

If I'd needed the money I would have sold - still would have preferred to sell up in 2020 as I don't invest for multiple years in any company - but I had a feeling I'd get a 2nd bite at the apple with GGP and I certainly do now, I knew one way or another someone of Shaun's calibre would monetise the asset.

When even a 'bad decision' leads to large profits - it's hard to join a whinging gang of losers like you who refuse to take any accountability for their own decisions and blame others.

I'm glad you're making some money to recoup your many losses over the years - all those years hanging outside betting shops supping cheap cider ain't been easy on you physically or mentally - so I'm cheering you on!

The DYOR is mostly to stop little whining dingos like Freddo blaming me for their investment decisions whenever the SP makes him cry and bore us to death, while CP goes on and on every day like a stuck record lol

HI Mark, I agree we definitely are - so that development timeline will be reduced but it's still a very complex and risky endeavour as is any underground mine build and that will take a couple of years or so to get to commercial production.

And I think the more informed ASX and insto audience that the company desires now will be more critical and cynical on any updates they make than your typical retail participants - hence it's not speed to release news but accuracy and quality of these reports that take precedence in any comms related to Hav and Telfer moving forward.

Unfortunately we have also taken a hit in terms of trust with the guidance change after the IPO in Oz - but nothing that can't be negated with technically excellent Telfer and Hav updates and a couple of good quarterly results - and in teh meantime let's hoep that ASX/GDX inclusions help build that momentum too ;-)
