@Matty - why would any CEO or board at the stage the company is now want a majority level of retail holders mate :-)

Any management team would be courting more insto - the team hasn't been quiet in Oz I bet, that Biz Devt. team is hard at work with attracting more institutional holders, even if some of us feel we haven't had enough comms. No one on that board, major shareholders or insto really cares if retail holders feel they saved the company .

GGP isn't some magical unicorn in this regard - it was always going to shift to being held by more institutional holders as retail either capitulated or cashed in (such as those buying in post deal cashing a few bags in) even if teh JV had gone ahead with NCM - and this process seems to have been accelerated due to the structure of the deal which immediately had an impact on the ownership structure.

An AIM listing will still be useful for a fair while I think though and as my own plans are very flexible I'm not too concerned if they decide to delist in the mid to long term in the future. I think it unlikely in the short term and while this shift to insto is rapid - it was to be expected in general.

We just need to accept the new reality and try and ensure we are smart in achieving our own goals which need to have been reappraised vs what we might have expected in 2020.

The only way you two can gain 'revenge' on those you see as 'leaders' Freddie/CP is if GGP fails to deliver which is counterproductive given you both claim to be holding shares too.

We all hold different averages, numbers of shares and outlooks so no one opinion reflects each and every single investor here - a declining set of investors too as retail seem to be being rapidly replaced by insto's day by day.

If your ego's need GGP to fail to make the also rapidly declining GGP chat board community share the same thoughts as you two evidently do about the 'leaders', 'top table' - then you really are being stupid. The GGP community as such also doesn't require Town Halls either thanks to Rotherby /Strudel /SureAsBlazes and others I may be unaware of who put in a great deal of effort into organising meet-ups with Bamps.

Many of the previously more active posters on TG or here also are increasingly drifting off to either multi-stock groups and/or formed our own smaller groups to discuss GGP and other stocks without either trolls or ineffective admin (not all) telling us how to go about our investments. You want to tell someone how to invest - best to have had more success than they have in regards to my latter point...

Been discussing elsewhere and like E1 said I think it's also important in general to remember that we are a new producer.

Yet to show:

- A years worth of numbers so annual production profile is theoretical

- Yet to release a DFS so Havieron as a low cost Gold Copper mine is theoretical besides a very old PFS

- Yet to prove through updated Telfer resource and reserve updates that there is definitively an extended decade plus LOM with better grade ore

But the next 6-9 months should take care of the above and then we should in theory rerate to a relevant peer type valuation as the evidence mounts up and theory becomes more grounded in fact.

But never any guarantees on the markets ;-)

9, I've found your posts to be leading in their nature to entice FUD VS discussing genuine concerns. An opinion obviously shared by many on here than one that is in the minority.

Now if you've found some error or issue then instead of playing games just explain it. Furthermore, contact the company if its just a typo in a slide etc. and well done if so for attention to detail :-)

Furthermore, I've never cared for how many folk agree with my posts, these boards should have a debate and research lead focus - I don't care for the FUDsters or positive only types equally as neither provide any useful function in analysing a company.

It's very apparent individuals like you, Freddo etc. have a desire to share your general dissatisfaction, anger etc. in the sense of wanting others to drown in it too. It's tiresome and manipulative, go and get some therapy guys.

Retail already down to 22 percent, these boards are less and less important now. This shift always happens at this stage as I said it would despite the HODL posts and like many previous regular contributors now focused on other things knowing this will pay/play out in time to our individual targets.

Go back and look at the transcripts (not translations as Freddo the Fool describes them) on GGPChat from interviews and presentations around the reasoning for the put options using the search function to find relevant transcripts.

It's extremely difficult and complex to drill down exactly what preferences young people might have around voting and how far-right they might be becoming or not for someone in the field.

So I doubt mostly polarised posters with extreme views on either end of the spectrum replying on their own very fixed and biased 'research' sources and beliefs on LSE will be able to narrow this down with any accuracy.

Far better argued about on X perhaps than going down another political argument rabbithole, after all... we've always got plenty of other stupid stuff to argue about ;-))

Hi DH - as E1 points out we have had a very nice rerate despite the results drop - so for those insto's that came onboard with the deal - it's been a great investment to date.

Of course - our personal average largely influences (I got you Prof - variable not a force and nice Einstein quote!) how we all feel about any investment.

And goes back to why I wanted to share my Train analogy before xMas of how we're sat in different class compartments :-)

Charles Archer doesn't understand this lack of SP action either- says a lot when you think about it if even someone in the industry is non-plussed...

The reasoning must be that eventually even those behind any potential manipulation would want the SP to rise and increase their profits.

Perhaps a nice middle point here is that the markets are 'loaded' against retail when it comes to active investing and trading?

There are definite cases of complete skullduggery being found- but a lot of manipulation as such is done through bending or staying within the 'rules'.

Most of us will NEVER EVER have the access we require within the financial industry to gain a meaningful and informed insight into all the workings - so I personally prefer to try and focus on making money nonetheless and not worrying about something I can't predict or control.

The reality is if you're constantly losing money vs making it through actively picking your own investments - you need to find another method.

Most LTH either decided to ignore the Orphan Period or kept 'buying the dip' and then as events transpired a transformational deal was closed but perhaps at an average many LTH are holding above of - so a longer route to ROI and we are unlikely to get a 2020 rerate to our previous ATH - albeit we're not doing badly based from the SP when the deal was closed if think about it?

What I focus on any time an investment doesn't work out is what I personally could have done, did I miss something or make a bad decisions somewhere even if a BOD screwed up or cheated shareholders or the market turned etc. - what lessons can I identify and apply to help me close more profitable outcomes moving forward?

Just have to move on from the past here or other investments that haven't worked out and make a Plan B moving forward as we have a rare second chance here - not often AIM presents those. It may take longer than desired though for anyone fixated on the old ATH - or it may not - the markets constantly defy logic.

Fundamental value is a nice security blanket but it is NEVER a guarantee your investment will be appreciated by the market fully and that companies with lesser fundamentals won't outperform you. Currently we are a new producer yet to increase what was considered near a EOL asset with Telfer's LOM via resource/reserve updates and release a Hav DFS and accelerate into development again - so it is excusable - in a years time if we're still underperforming comparative peers - it will be less so.

When it comes to telfer I suspect we need the resource and perhaps even reserve updates to get a significant uplift vs just drill assays as we're all 'sophisticated and grown up' with these insto's nowadays and relatively speaking it's not too far away :-)

The Hav DFS/DTM should surely be the beginning of the 2nd LC wave for Hav albeit everything's skewed what with now having sole ownership of 2 key assets and all vs the Hav JV forming the initial Hype phase.

As for ASX200/GDX - well we'll have to wait and see and not so long now for the former either- as always with GGP its been interesting seeing the actual dynamics vs perceived play out in real time.

Glad to help caz, i remember how disruptive the MTD changes were when they affected VAT Returns to those not using software - but this time it's really going to affect a lot more folk and the word is abysmal for how HMRC have gone about educating and getting ready for this as usual. Software companies and accountants are struggling too as I think they keep changing and tweaking the backend that everything is going to 'plug' into.

I've seen a demo in a Zoho Books webinar if you're already using software to do your invoicing and bookkeeping then much like online VAT returns the software runs the sums and populates the fields for you for when you'll do those 4 quarterly income returns for your business income. They didn't yet have a demo for the Annual Tax return but are developing it so you'll be able to add other sources of income such as dividends, trading and pensions if applicable when I asked a question, so it will be a one stop solution.

You will be able with Zoho at least be able to tweak things such as what you want included or not as taxable income and claimable expenses etc. in the calculations -much like online VAT returns it won't take long every quarter so hopefully sets some fears aside for anyone worried.

The challenge is larger for those not using accounting software needing to go digital so investing time even if free software meets their needs. I guess if their accountant does their vat returns and bookkeeping they'll also want to charge more for these quarterly MTD returns too - so I understand why many folk are upset.

However - I certainly don't see any need for anyone to stop taking on work or even being self-employed etc. as perhaps there are cheap solutions if not tech savvy such as finding a cheap local bookkeeper replicating their manual invoicing etc. into an online web based solution like Zoho every quarter, even many of the paid plans for these types of software can be had from around £10 monthly.

Off topic but something affecting many of us here I imagine from April 2026, it's more than manageable :-)

Hi gwm121, those quarterly MTD returns for self employed over the threshold will be a pain for both the businesses and accountants and also includes unincorporated landlords and their property income.

There are solutions such as Zoho Books software that will enable everything on its free plan (inc. VAT Returns, pension and dividends income etc. - ridiculously much of the software doesn't cover everything currently) if your business doesn't require the additional features some larger or more complex businesses may need, but also dependent on how your accountant works as some are married to specific software so will try and push clients there.

Just sharing as I know it's worrying a lot of landlords and small business folk, especially those that aren't using software for bookkeeping and/or reliant on accountants handling most things. There are also some exemptions you can try applying for but probably not applicable to many.
