Hi Jiffy - I know there's a lot of exx SXX here like yourself and Jonny making their losses back mate- so also another nice part of the journey for many :-)

Always some luck involved in life as things could have been so different if just one key event had gone in one direction than it did with GGP - and who knows what the future holds, always another hill to climb or a river to swim ... Hopefully cooler heads prevail next week and everyone has the sense to chill out, take a deep breath and view the scenery - it's got a very nice hue of gold about it right now.

I've been through a couple of challenging years on a personal level myself where its brought the 'fighter' out in me and I've shown another perhaps a less appealing side to my character at times and certainly not helped by a select few in TG at a challenging time in my life but we're always responsible for our own behaviour too. I have very strong reservations about ever getting so involved in another group effort again on any stock and it's obvious that my interaction has dropped a lot along with others as the fact is, when the SP drops, those who supported the company are going to get blamed for ramping.

BUT I have by and large really enjoyed the collaboration and getting to make many new friends in person or virtually - looking forward to meeting a few yet that I haven't had the chance too such as you Acechaser in person - bcos I know your Spirit Animal is hovering over the board you old rascal :-)

Whatever you do in life - always important to make it as fun as possible and well - I think we've all had a good few laughs along the way and am sure will have many more for as long as we each choose to ride this journey.

Never let the past cause you fear, but learn from your mistakes is a key lesson that's helped me over the years in many different areas of life and feels very very appropriate for our journey here ;-))

When you're secure in your investment decisions then a few negative or aggressive posts don't matter once you get to this stage - belief in your research and accept that risk is a constant whether in life or investing. This stage being that the reality is The Age of Retail is over and this is now a big boy company run for the big boys.

No one is going to care that LTH saved the company moving ahead, certainly not the insto's that are going to increase their hold on the company.It's lovely that Shaun seems to genuinely appreciate us - but Gaines, Barnaba and Wilson couldn't care less and especially Twiggy. It's all business with these guys and their laser focus along with Shaun's will be in executing the strategy and getting Greatland to greatness.

BUT the great thing now is no one can actually affect the company on these boards as us 'unsophisticated' retail are just passengers, it will motor on irrespective of how we all feel - so there is no reason to be getting upset or angry at the usual trouble makers. I've got more troll heads hung over my mantlepiece than most as I like to engage and break them for fun - but I fully intend to enjoy this milestone and celebrate it than waste time with them today.

We're all in at decent levels hopefully that if not in profit now, it's not too far away fingers crossed as the rerate has been going well based on the starting point GGP Mark 2 launched from. I sincerely love reading the posts about folk getting back in profit and feeling better about their investment as this has been a horrendous journey TBF.

We are SO lucky compared to most invested in AIM and especially AIM juniors - by hook or crook - we damn well picked one that actually made it!!!

ASX won't solve all the issues about 'manipulation' - the market overall is crooked and made for the big boys - its their world and they are the apex predator - but you have to learn to be smart and make you own kills quietly and prosper. It's what I did as an entrepreneur as a young man - picked a small niche and made my kill before they realised there was money to be made.

Ignore the BS - while I appreciate some are still in the red - we've cleared some unimaginable hurdles and the odds are more favourable than ever.

Investing is cyclical (markets, sectors, crashes and bubbles etc.) and IMO sentiment drives markets - but as long as ASX mining companies are a great place to be invested - we have one of the best to be invested IMO but as always DYOR.

Many things have made GGP unique but one truth that will stand the test of time is that we have had one of the most well researched stocks out there by humble retail, a small army of inquisitive minds from many fields just digging away to try and beat them at their own game.

Enjoy the milestone, enjoy the journey and gather your strength for the many exciting times ahead :-))

hi pebsi, helx2 filtered me after a debate about ai albeit somehow amazingly can still read my posts so he's the one who has an issue. i'll debate anything to the end of the universe quite happily if someone remains civil but he's not the kind of poster i gain any benefit from, just empty ramping vs any research.

however, i think a lot of the latest lot are just here waiting for a silver inspired herd spike to make a quick buck. they're planning on trading the herd as it hopefully stampedes in vs interested in the company particularly. some are openly stating that as you know.

as for holding the board to account, even if we could muster enough votes you really need powerful and connected mining experts as major shareholders who could replace the team leading that kind of action. its just not feasible for a bunch of retail pi to do anything and once things go down that route, it's never pretty...

perhaps chris can get something done with han**** in next year but we still have this board full of lifestyle types now and connected to half a dozen other lifestyle type companies.

not sure what to say that might reassure you mate and sincerely wish i could , but short term if that herd does stampede in based on just investing in any silver play with zero due diligence and progress on han**** is still glacial, well i know what i'll be doing.

were i sat on the outside looking in now, this company would no longer pass my due diligence where i'd enter with a new position so the above seems the best bet to get a decent exit to me. i never thought this would be a ggp but a potential 7 to 10 bagger and should have exited after han**** mre but thought they might have made progress on eh too which was the real motivation for having invested.

adapt or die as they say mate, so you might have to revise your strategy too and perhaps just take a lesser hit on your paper losses. i don't see a long term position here making sense personally now but dyor and obviously, things may play out differently in the mo ths ahead, we'll see what chris can do but honestly... we've been down this road many times by now.

Culpepper, the forward buying Shaun mentioned at TH I believe might take place when on ASX into Q3 before some of the funds can buy in and not while on AIM.

He even mentioned a name but didn't hear clearly at the time.

Might have it wrong as been breathing paint and wood stain fumes and sawdust from sanding for a few weeks though so investing not at forefront of mind at mo lol

Absolutely, most of us are banking on the herd driving a spike if silver grabs their attention and logic will be left behind hopefully to get some gains back.

Han*ock is just on a longer timeline and still in the hands of this lot fully so I expect slow progress. As you say one to tuck away and hope something lands :-)

Ipos are always a mixed bag in my experience in short term albeit no experience of this w enario with ASX.

So again, it goes back to a longer timeframe than the next few weeks and how you think the stock will perform over an extended period and how the mandated buys might factor in running into Q3 IMO.

Why = What

You know why I'm going to do is judge Shaun and co at year end to evaluate the current ROI from my personal perspective of the deal and GGP Mark 2.

Fretting and arguing over what the price may be in the first week or even month on ASX is pointless unless you plan to or unfortunately need to sell.

As long as POG is riding high and the sentiment is with the sector we are invested in the right place IMO. Just need to let things play out into end of year granted the macro keeps favouring us.

Time to enjoy the journey now :-))

Amazing how you read my post this morning while I'm filtered though but go and read my research from a couple of years ago and learn something real Vs asking AI to do all your thinking.

Never used the filter, its good to test your own thoughts with those of opposing opinions and easy to skim past obvious troublemakers.

People who know what they are talking about tend to have posting histories with actual research and analysis in them Vs empty unsubstantiated valuations.

Busy day yesterday but I did note Helx2's rude post (now removed), the guy who had apparently blocked me after his last verbal humbling around AI use.

Helx2, go back a couple years into my posting history around the time GGP had their option exercise with Newcrest.

You'll find some research I did around resource estimates and valmin valuation methodologies you should read. Not created by AI of course and once you have educated yourself, you'll have a better idea of what you are talking about.

Now go back to pretending I am blocked so I don't have it be bored by your nonsense posts. Alien is not the next GGP as detailed in my well received post that upset you, any future spike and most will be racing each other to sell for that 2 to 3 bag which I agree with Nap is still possible :-))

Now, if they'd been able to follow the Fenix playbook, there was a bigger rerate potential from a higher mCap with markedly less dilution and any that had occured would hopefully have been more accretive.

What a shame some of you are being so unsympathetic to LTH I know for a fact have invested significant sums in here and might struggle to get their money back due to the absolute mismanagement of assets and strategy here, which is all detailed in the market releases and ever changing board members, priorities and strategies as they chased their tails last few years.

I'll repeat again, there is potential still here but way less than 5 years ago as we now have people attached to the company who are involved in many lifestyle companies, check a post a month ago from info. sourced from Hotcopper around this 'matrix' and understand the landscape better IMO.

no point in folk arguing constantly on the board, alien wasn't able to follow the fenix playbook the last half decade, no chance it will follow the ggp playbook, not the same class, league or reality as a company.

eh is not havieron, chris isn't shaun, west coast aren't a major or mid tier jv partner and the board aren't anywhere on the same level as greatland's with globally renowned mining leaders.

compare the company achievements and results the last 5 years and how ggp is now a producer having cleared much larger hurdles and alien is barely spluttering along with richard having positioned west coast to take the assets in a fire sale if things go more awry for those who have researched the matrix of companies many of the existing staff are linked with.

any potential han**** deal is a while away now as very clear from the interview and should west coast get eh to dtm then let's hope alien can fund their share of costs without major dilution and that the mcap will have improved.

it's aim, on very rare occasions the lucky few win the lottery as with ggp where some of us are also invested and literally return you a life-changing payday... but the more common scenario is what has happened here with many sat on huge losses and very little meaningful progress.

the games not over here but the returns will be less than they might have been 5 years ago as much dilution has been absorbed. new holders are in way cheaper so think they have a bargain but may well end up being the next lth bemoaning lack of progress in a few years if things don't markedly improve here this year.

From memory so pls correct someone if wrong you just need to read section 7 suspicious and it is clearly written.
