Ricki - that's a very good question and one that all of us would like to know! It's welcome naturally and notice the lighter more cheery tone on the board today. No one whinging that the P3 trial RNS hasn't dropped today!

So whats the reason? Well I would rule out TO rumours. If that were a serious suggestion out in the market as opposed to circulating on a BB this would be up more than 13% I assure you! It could be that the vaccine euphoria is wearing off and people are coming back to this now as they realise vaccines aren't the 'silver bullet' and, even if they were, the reality that there will still be plenty enough demand for effective therapeutics going forward.

Then there's momentum. Lots of people watching this on the sidelines are waiting for a signal to get back in. They see the price rise. The more it goes up, the more people get attracted. We had an example of panic buying in this last week in the last hour of trading. The buying today is more measured and persistent.

Or it could be an Institution like Polar loading up still......

OR, and this is the one I am hoping it IS linked to, is possible developments in the US.

It could be one or many things but the most important thing is the SP is rising!

Thats what I was wondering! He's made good gains from sub 9 to 18 so maybe he is our profit taker? Just a bit of top slicing ....

I doubt ANY of the II Placees would be willing to accept 175p or anything close to it.

Think more in terms of the Numis valuation.

In any case I hope the SP rise isn’t due to TO speculation. I hope it is primarily related to (possible) developments in the US as Christoffer eluded to.

Rooky- don’t forget there’s been a lot of dilution in the past ten years so the two SP’s aren’t comparable tbh. What is comparable is the respective valuations. Do you know what the company was worth in 2009?

Another metric is comparing AFC to its peers. CWR and ITM are currently worth 2.2bn and 1.9bn respectively.

This is a fraction of those numbers. Maybe that gap will begin to narrow a bit now?

After today’s transformational announcement No more the Ugly Duckling or poor relation against its peers ITM, CWR etc?

Kicking myself that I didn’t even notice the RNS until an hour ago. Also kicking myself that I picked up a slug here for under 18p less than a month ago. Now looks a terrific price which in fairness I knew it was but got tempted elsewhere and sold for a small profit. That’ll teach me!

Was Kingston planned or is that a ‘new’ site? Impressed with the modular fit outs. Good progress but not SP has slipped back from highs. Suspect this could be a reaction to Tier tightening but hopefully short term.

The JV and 45-50p would be a very nice Christmas present.

More sells than buys today yet we’re up. Maybe you’re right ADT, there’s a larger buy order in the background being filled?

It doesn’t matter how many mutations, how many variants, how many strains the virus produces. We know SNG001 will treat them all. Just as effectively. That’s one of the reasons this will be a mammoth success.

jolly - won’t tell you how much I’ve got in here now but I’m in pretty heavy. At one point a few months back I broke all the rules and went all in here. Sold out @ £2 and now back in with average of 87p built up over period of weeks.

If not before, then it will be clear that vaccine roll out will be no nowhere near enough to even entertain the idea of ‘something nearer normal’ like Handjob & co are promising.

Cases and deaths will be soaring higher to record levels in UK and USA after a disastrous Christmas and New Year of Covid exposure and FDA and MHRA will have no choice but to grant EUA to SNG001. It will be a simple choice of let the corpses build up or DO SOMETHING!

Sanofi/GSK Trial delayed and now not expected before end of 2021. Due to poor immune response. UK govt had pre-ordered 60 mill doses!

AZN Oxford Trial will now duo up with Russian vaccine. The reason this is not good news is it becomes more political. The FDA was already minded not to approve. Now they are dealing with the Russians there’s no chance.

A week or two ago I said that it was peak vaccine euphoria and it was only going to one way - downhill, from that point.
