BOJO - well quite. All my available funds are going into this now. There are very few quality stocks on AIM. Very few. But this is one of them. Current valuation is laughable.

Revenue projections are irrelevant. Angle will be taken out well before 2028.

I have mentioned it before and posted the following link but here it is again for those who haven’t seen it. I am convinced that it’s only a matter of time before Abbott swallows up Angle. Why wouldn’t they? Why bother with a long term ‘partnership’. They have the resources, the network and capability to drive this technology forward far more rapidly than Angle could ever hope to.

And make no mistake this technology is a massive long term opportunity for them. Liquid Biopsy is a huge growth market. Parsortix is a market leader. Surely it’s a no brainer?

An offer for the company would involve Abbott having to get sufficient support from existing II’s firstly but if not a hostile TO is not out of the question. There is a huge amount at stake here. Industry disrupting technology.

Of there were an offer, and I believe it will happen in the next few months it could trigger a bidding war as there are other major Diagnostics players who would surely covet Parsortix.
Look at the crazy money Illumina paid to get Grail back after originally spinning it off! 8 billion dollars! Angles technology arguably is superior to Grail though obviously not competing directly.

Phantom - your interpretation of my post yesterday is YOUR interpretation. I think it was justified. No shouting or screaming just considered points which you clearly don’t agree with, fair enough.

The SP IS a combination of several factors, both which you mention amongst them. Easy to blame a dire market isn’t it but there have been spectacular own goals by AN and, yes, there is also activity imho to suppress the SP.

Todays news is very welcome and I hope all the talk of discussions and contracts is translated into meaningful news.

All kinds of shenanigans going on here lol. No one can convince me this is normal market behaviour/reaction to what is truly a STELLAR RNS. There’s a hedge fund at work here suppressing the price artificially. No way this company will still be independent in 12 months time. They have industry disrupting technology in multi hundred BILLION dollar market. Market leading position with all the proof you need that the product works.

Abbot are on the acquisition trail. I am now 100% convinced we will see a buy out here. Could be before the end of this year. Abbot will not sit on their hands much longer.

This is a sitting duck at this utterly absurd market valuation. The only question is what will the buy out price be? Much more than 65p that’s for sure!

I’m not blaming AN for the Ovarian study delay per se. What I am saying is we should’ve been kept better informed and the why. I don’t accept it’s not RNS worthy because it represents a real change from previous guidance. But saying nothing is not a good look.

Since the FDA announcement which was supposed to ‘turbo charge’ growth and commercial prospects we have heard precisely nothing. Just silly smug self indulgent interviews from AN telling us ‘he doesn’t need the money’ - it’s not about YOU Andrew your job is about delivering shareholder value. And telling us he’ll be long gone before it all takes off. Oh NOW he tells us?
Read back in the FDA RNS and you see a very different story.

I suggest the best way now to deliver some form of shareholder value from the current ridiculous SP - entirely manufactured by AN’s ineptitude NOT by a ‘challenging market’ is to sell the company to a major who can deliver the technologies undoubted wonderful benefits far more rapidly than Andrews tortoise speed. After all Andrew THAT is what you are in this for isn’t it, for patients benefit? Certainly not shareholder s that’s for sure!

But losses higher than last year. Not a business ti be investing in in this poor economic environment with consumer confidence collapsing.

FWIW I checked out the Exeter Boom Bar - weekday evening - it was closed and the place was like a ghost town!

Yes it was 100% a buy. In fact we are now starting to see a large buyer accumulating at this level. Being accommodated by MM’s feeding through sells making it look good for the buyer ti quietly accumulate. It started yesterday and suspect at some point we will start to see TR1’s

Weird goings on today. A largeish sell trade below the quoted bid is printed and lo and behold the bid ticks… up! And not the first time it’s happened today. Already seen a delayed £100k buy printed earlier.

A large background buyer now perhaps? Or am I clutching at straws?

Thompi oh I think we were all expecting at least some positive news by now! And the delay in the Ovarian results? Well I think AN has failed miserably to keep his shareholders updated accordingly. Radio silence.

going large - need to correct you on a couple of important points.

Parsortix was NOT AN’s idea. It was somebody else’s technology.

Secondly Angle will NOT be bought by a pharmacy company. Pharmacy companies invest in drugs. IF AGL is bought out it will be a Diagnostics Major such as Abbot

Fevertreeman - I value your thoughts. They are well reasoned and yes I can see you know what you are talking about. The other guy has a point about the dreadful market we are in currently, there’s a lot of fear, but he had to make it personal, oh dear.

Anyway FWIW I get the sense that AN has been wallowing, basking, in the glory of FDA success and has totally missed the whole point of why he us there, to crystallise shareholder value!

Instead he did a very preachy interview telling us what kind of investor he wants. Bloody cheek! Who does he think he is! His job is to serve ALL shareholders and deliver value. He has hitherto failed to do so. Nada since the FDA announcement.

I don’t think AN knows what to do now. He was so focused on getting the FDA approval and now he’s got it it’s as though he hadn’t considered the post approval strategy. He wants time to think about it! FFS
I think he should step down and Angle should appoint somebody with the requisite commercial nous and experience to EXPLOIT Parsortix undoubted HUGE potential. It needs to be unlocked.
I also agree the board HAS to be strengthened. Too many AN yes men clearly.

I am not a great fan of consolidations. I’ve seen them not work out well in the past. I don’t see how drastically reducing the number of shares in issue makes them more liquid.

That said, I think there are potential positives. A share price of circa £1.20 is a lot more credible in the eyes of investors than 0.6p penny share!

It really depends on whether they can produce the positive news flow required, contract wins, partnerships, India etc. IF they can the SP will take care of itself whether it’s 0.6p or £1.20

Things are going to have to get moving politically for this govt with the CDC’s and there is money flowing in to back it up. Addressable market according to TO is £93 million for that segment alone and with a market leading position surely they can’t snatch defeat from the jaws of victory?

I’m holding firm and will add on anymore weakness.

This does look like a good entry point. Company believes they are at an inflection point, it genuinely look like it. The investor meet will be interesting. They can’t tell us anything new but the tone will be key.

Elartu - you’ll certainly need them for the results as well as the investor presentation and Q&A session next Tuesday! Going to be interesting.

In the trading update in June there was the following quote:

“The Company will provide further information at the time of its full year results announcement, expected in September 2022”

The ‘further information’ comment was relating to an update on Bleepa progress across the board. I am expecting positive news.

I should’ve concluded that a ‘potential’ high growth stock with an enterprise value of £6m seems to me extremely modest. The company is very well funded so no more cash required in the foreseeable future. News update could drop near term. This has the ‘potential’ to multi bag in the next 6/12 months should prospects in India and the UK begin to commercialise.

So current EV is circa £6m.

Recent revenue from trading update approx £600k and rising rapidly

All it will take is one or two CDC contracts to drop here and this will take off (£0.6m pa avg per contract) And the prospect of these contracts looks increasingly likely
