SYM can't agree with your comment about long term investment. I have been invested here for 4+ years and at my age I would prefer to enjoy the fruits of my investment myself. For you younger investors no, it doesn't matter how long it takes, but not everyone is a younger investor. So in a nutshell I would like my big fat dollop of jam today whilst I can savour the taste, not tomorrow!

The trouble is every RNS has the same underlying message - jam tomorrow!

In reality SEPCO have no more control over the GoT than Kibo. They signed up with Kibo believing in the MCPP and in all probability with reassurances from LC that the GoT are "on board". They probably had reassurances also from the GoT.
For me the question is how many times will LC take a kicking from the GoT before he realises there is no GoT goodwill, we do not have a special relationship?

LC has previously said he will release news to the market immediately be it good or bad. I therefore do not think he will hold news back to release at the AGM - he isn't allowed to. I am sure he will be hoping that the approvals come through before the AGM or else he will have a lot of questions put to him.

Yes, t50 is correct. The presentation on the Kibo website that stated the PPA would be completed by Q2 is being updated. Looking forward to the update being posted!

In my last communication from LC a few weeks ago LC was very emphatic that Kibo is fundamentally healthy and progressing well on all fronts and they will continue to diligently update the market as soon as there are any material change in circumstances, regardless of whether this maybe good or bad news.
I therefore assume that this is either old news or fake news. The guy quoted is, according to LinkedIn, an energy planner in the Dept. Of Energy.

Hi Wimbo, you seem pretty definite that it was the author's fault. I would prefer to think that LC had let slip something he shouldn't have!
