Thanks Rufiji, I may look to top up/average down in the coming weeks, as I will have capital coming in from FENR when their sale goes through to Michelin. I do find the slump surprising but remain positive about the medium-long term. And the sale of Zampalm has now gone through too, so all the more surprising with the drop

to the shares that investors do not take up from the placement? Do they get offered to other shareholders first or just expire? Halifax weren't clear on their online system (Although I haven't spoken to them), I just submitted a number higher than my allocation in case they were up for offer

Just catching up on this, great news and certainly a surprise. Whilst part of me wishes we'd stayed independent and continued our growth path, the offer is very good so i'm happy with my return of doubling my initial investment

I'm with Indrid Cold as well on this, there's no logic in them buying out the rest of the shares. They're in it to maximise their return, hence buying as many as they could but not to own the whole company. If they had that wish, they would have bought out a long time ago. Good to see things finally moving a bit here

I posted this on the AVCT forum, where I'm also a holder, but the same applies here I think with regards to the recent sharp drop: I think there is more to do with the slide than actual fundamentals. It could be that there is a fund raising imminent but my gut feel is it's related to the fact a lot of market has fallen out of love with Woodford at the moment due a number of his portfolio underperforming. I actually have a number of his in my portfolio, not due to him but I see similar potential. I think sentiment will turn but you only need to look at similar shares in the group - AVCT and IPO are both struggling when there is nothing fundamental changed with either the core performance or the outlook on either company. In fact both are quite positive. This share was always one for the brave and if you're feeling brave, I think it's a great time to top up/dive in. ATB and DYOR. I don't have any capital spare at the moment or I would - I've been piling into PFG at these rates and need some for the placement. GLA

Again buller, you're not understanding how it works. You're looking too much at an isolated incident. The market prices things like this in, just like they priced in the worst case yesterday and as it was better than expected so hence the rise (against what some people thought was logic) as shorters closed out positions. GL if you think it's going to get down to 700

Buller, you're taking the RI in isolation which is a very na�ve thing to do. Upto you if you short, but there's no way this will retrace 300 points. You need a greater appreciation of both the market forces here, the fundamentals of the company. This will become a less shorted share now. There will be some consolidation but I don't see it moving back past 850-900 range. GL with whatever you decide. I'd expect this 1200+ by the summer

A lot of clueless posters on here today it seems, who really don’t understand the basic fundamentals of the company. A good rise today. I’d expect to see some consolidation over the coming days and weeks before a gradual increase, dependent upon updated performance and the 2nd FSA. GLA

That issue with Civita in Italy is tiny in respect to RKH overall situation. And they're looking to offload it anyway. Generally a good update on the Med. Nothing groundbreaking but good to see the old debts being cleared. I'm not surprised as the economic situation is improving in Egypt and they are being quite progressive with development of oil and gas - they will soon be a major player

Hi Chartist, yes of course remember you! Still holding, I'm a medium term holder so will be in for 2-5 years likely. Always happy to top up (if I have capital available) on dips though. There could be any number of reasons why the HC director left. Could be underperformance, something dodgy hidden, personal, strategic etc etc. It doesn't concern me greatly. However the market doesn't like uncertainty, hence the drop today. Hopefully will all be cleared up tomorrow with an RNS

aimtitan - there's no smoke without fire, I'd be amazed if there isn't a rights issue tomorrow. WiganWarriors - thanks for your succinct summary and evaluation, very knowledgeable for a pie :). Up the Rhinos! The SP has unsurprisingly bounced. I'd expect it to end up about 6% down today at COB. I'm certainly watching, contemplating topping up in the coming days. It will be interesting to see the level they do a placing. I think a lot of negativity is already built into the SP, so doubt it would be at much of a discount to this. If they clear the decks so to speak, with an RNS, you may even see the SP rise

Thanks for the article. I agree with it to an extent but not wholly. There's certainly more value in it than it attributes but the problem is IPO hasn't been realising the value. I don't mind too much as the investments should accumulate but at some point IPO has to reward investors either through a dividend or redistribution of funds otherwise it won't attract additional funding/investors
