I think one of the key issues here to come out of that presentation, which is often overlooked by iis, is that it's not enough just to have a covid test or approvals. You need distribution partners, which GDR don't have in Europe (as Budd admitted). That's why their focus was elsewhere, in emerging markets (India, Africa) plus the US where they have relationships already. GDR isn't setup to do direct selling so this has always been a challenge.
Just putting some perspective into it. I'm sure they've been looking at European distributors but also working directly with Health organisations, one of which will hopefully come to fruition shortly. WHO and Indian approvals shouldn't be far off and they'll look at selling into US (will be small) even if they don't get FDA approval in the short term
