Thought the trading update would be better received than it is so far!

Very positive - operating profit expected to be well ahead of market expectations and strong cash position. What's not to like?

Good news? It's great news............sales to begin in 2021, minimum sales volumes agreed, and Girbau appear to be an excellent partner. I'm amazed the SP hasn't jumped on this. Should be at £3 now. Excited to hear developments on domestic laundry later this year

It's irrelevant Jed - the consolidation doesn't alter the % rise needed to obtain a return. I will still need my holding to more than double in value

There won't be any share buyback, because they're doing a consolidation. They would have announced this at the same time if it was a consideration. Divi more likely later in 21 or 22.

It's difficult to argue with the fact that we would've been better off as PMO. We got royally screwed by the creditors, I don't think i'll ever reach my av SP which is more than double the current level. At least with PMO it went up and down like a yo-yo.

No it’s not SK, that’s Gas. Oil is hedged in the region of $57-61 per barrel over the next year or 2. And that’s only a small proportion.

Overall, underwhelming results but at least debt was reduced. This probably explains some of the lack of SP impetus. It may drop a little today but don’t expect a big move. Still undervalued and H2 should be better. It will be interesting to hear what they say at the AGM. Not a lot on Sea Lion but the words they use are ‘restart of project activity’ which indicates that it’s still firmly in the plans. My view is they’ll be weighing up options on it on how to move forward. Hopefully hear more later

Do we have a leak or just speculative rise?

Expect big policy announcements at COP26 later this year, particularly on hydrogen. Continental Europe is some distance ahead of the UK in their hydrogen development, with quite a number of refuelling stations. Scotland is taking the lead in the UK, and with the conference being held in Glasgow, a lot of noise will be made from it. The landbank that GTC have secured gives them a crucial platform to roll out hydrogen fuelling stations and they will have first mover advantage

The price is just falling back close to the level of the raise. It’s consolidating before it’s next push on

Whilst it should’ve raised interest yesterday I agree, it will take a little while before green funds start buying in. Might need to wait a quarter or 2

Great news receiving this. ITX received this a couple of months ago and the SP shot up. This will have a real beneficial effect, with sustainable funds now purchasing PHC. I topped up last week, glad I did as I don't expect it to stay down at this level much longer

If M&G are selling down their stake, we could have some suppressed SP for a little while longer

I wonder if M&G PLC are selling down their stake further - the RNS on 4th June showed they had sold down to 9.45%.

Half Year report as expected. No detail on debt repayments or the level of debt currently, other than the Debt/EBITDA gearing.

It doesn't take much to move the SP, it feels like it's tightly controlled but could go on a run when the seller has cleared. Here's hoping...........

Don’t see Croda taking a small stake here. They will either make an offer for the job lot or nothing at all

Another 4m of sales again today...........it feels like this seller is holding the SP back. We will surely get holding RNS in due course

Do not panic - IP Group are not a potential takeover suitor, that’s not their game. They invest in fledgling businesses and sell for a return when it reaches a level they’re satisfied with. It is encouraging that they still see plenty of potential here to invest further.

Chilling - fund raising isn’t a problem, no, because they have shown it. However by casting doubt on whether they’ve raised enough, it will likely depress the SP somewhat as some will be put off thinking they’ll be raising more in the coming months.
