Hi Stu - wasn't this indicated in the highlights:
Product design to address domestic machine market planned for release for field trials by OEMs in mid-2021.
This is potentially the most exciting part of the RNS, other than the continued momentum. It states later on that it expects the domestic market to be a target for 2022. There's a bit more later on:
In order to provide the appliance industry with a standardised microfibre filtration solution that can work and be easily incorporated within any domestic washing machine, Xeros has commenced work on a comprehensive product design for a high performance/low cost XFiltra which also meets customer expectations. Once completed, in Q2 2021, the Company plans to share this design under formal agreements with a number of leading washing machine manufacturers for them to undertake field trials ahead of its incorporation within their products under license.
There wasn't anything groundbreaking in the RNS to me, but continued positive momentum. I notice some of the fund raise is being assigned to development on the XFiltra.
Interesting strategy for the fashion industry, where they're engaged with a number of global fashion brands, with the plan of them recommending XOrb/XDrum platform to their supply chain partners. This platform of course significantly reduces the input and consumption of materials and resources, and lowers effluent emissions, whilst extending the life of these items. Given the increased focus on the fashion industry, I can see some adopters taking this on and shouting about their ethical production.
They expect the remaining £11.7m cash to see them through to monthly cash break even by end of 2022.
I'll be watching the presentation later with interest. I'm particularly interested in potentially new licensing agreements
