Correct monkey, this is validation/proof of concept stuff. That's the reason for the RNS as much as anything..........don't expect every deal to be RNS, but it will provide comfort and particularly they can go to other clients and say look who we've got on board, they see value in it.

GDR is a prime takeover target -

- It has a presence in the key US market (where the bidder will likely reside)
- It has huge untapped potential (making it a good return on investment)
- It lacks the ability to grow organically

It’s the sort of business that could easily be assimilated into someone like Danaher

That said it's a concerning update, particularly with a new investigation. It does appear an overreaction though. I am glad I sold out last week, thank you to those who shared the Fitch update...........that really crystallised it for me, as they often get the inside line. Ended up putting my capital in Rolls Royce instead.

PFG should recover but it's a long road back and feel sorry for long term shareholders. I sold at a loss, which is always difficult to accept but for once I appear to have timed it well

Like others, I was pleasantly surprised to see the announcement of a dividend, albeit a very modest one. It makes me think it's a piecemeal offering to placate those who have long called for it / put others off investing here. It also raises the prospect of a potential one-off divi being provided when Nanopore gets listed. 2021 should be a good year!

That was surprising. Firstly, they've lost face again by advising they had enough funds to see them through, and then announcing another raise 6 months later. However, on the flip side, an oversubscribed raise with little dilution (and when you consider the level of dilution previous raises have had) this is particularly surprising. I wonder if they need the cash to advance some agreements in the pipeline. Otherwise, why raise now?

Whilst I was looking to make a quick buck from my 5p shares, with the strong dip this morning, it's getting to the stage that it's better value to hold for a period of time and ride out the dip. It will bounce at some point today and i expect it to be higher than this later this week
