One last message on the subject. Dense media separation is a technique that cradle arc plc are trying to implement, it basically looks to filter out better quality ore to go through the plant. The ceo over there is Kevin Van Wouw who was a projects manager at lionore (one of our Don Baileys old company). I’m not sure whether this technology is an option for Kalaba, but I suspect it’s something Don is aware of and may be another trick he has up his sleeve to increase productivity at our plant when it’s up and running

In short the targets from the old paper would seem possible if we get tha plant working to the very best we think is possible and there is little downtime. My old figures from when cobalt/copper were better priced earlier in year at $80k/$6700 and the 300t copper/50t cobalt a month produced free annual cash flow of $46m. This figures obsolete, but until metal prices find a stable level and we get more info on throughout, grade and hours plant operating we’re just making guesses. I’m convinced though that as long as it works the plant will be a very good cash producer..

Question is how much when optimised will the plant be able to process and hour and how many hours I can run a month. 24hours a day 30 days a month at 45 tonnes per hour = 32,400 tonnes processed a month, not much down time. Unlike fulmar I would be expecting a 24/7 operation as the plant will be under cover and well lite, however some downt for maintenance and cool down will be required. Use of yellow plant wfor extraction be more restricted however ore can be stockpiled for the plant.

China - I love your enthusiasm for the company and hope you do manage to attend the AGM. I do however think you Focus too much on the buy out and farm outs, whilst there might be interest surely it’s best to concentrate on what is in the companies control? We might get offers at this stage but they might not be good value

Lots of my confidence comes from the July presentation event and throughly recommend those with an investment here that is significant to them (regardless of monetary value compared to others) should attend.

Baraba- sorry been busy since late afternoon. I really do not want to talk sp, but if as I hope our grades are significantly higher than sentinel which sold for 250m then I’d expect us to be better than that. Key is understanding margins, higher grade at service equals much lower Costs and therefore better profit. Just in my sipp I’ve over a million, from here I hope to have a pension better than most final salary pensions which my generation have missed out on.

Westie I also avoid posting sp predictions, you never know how the market will react or what’s round the corner. Who thought 6 months ago we’d be in control of Zamsort! I have figures I think would be fair value at various situations/progress, they make me very exited but will the market reflect those thoughts? I’m certainly not spending the windfall yet

Was in the article Arcm tweeted yesterday. Says Lundin offer of $4.75 per share was rejected and taken direct to shareholders July 26th. Zijin mining offered $6per share at $1.8b so I just worked back the Lundin offer. Let me know if I’ve misunderstood or calculated!

Yep. After years of under investing 17 parties were interested in nevsun after they declined a $1.5b offer and failed to get hold of them. That’s a lot of parties with a lot of money looking for known quality deposits. There just simply isn’t enough quality projects to go round. Glad we have NVS steering the ship to maximise shareholder value

If they’ve got results from trenching then at least some is near surface. Worth remembering economical open pit grade should be 0.5%. DRC grade which has been alluded to can be much higher. Worth having another look at page 7 of the recent July presentation. Plus we should have cobalt for which 0.1% is equivalent to 1% copper with rough conversion. If you really want to get rampy then read the s p angel report with comment on gold. Majors wanted in before assays, sure there is a reason for that!

We’ve already seen core samples and the reference to higher metamorphism. We’ve already got trenching results published and the company will have old drill data. Would be very unlikely if that just happened to be the only decent ore there!

1st August they had drilled 5 holes and were cutting to send off so could be anytime soon. I do though hope the 80m mineralisation segment results are released when the market is back from holiday...

Westie - you are right of course. Required annual results issued in line with last years timeline. AGM will be up next. Any if you guys think you may attend when date gets announced?

Suspect he means list it as a separate company with an IPO. Probably more an option than a preferred method and it would involve costs. That listing could be on another index such as Canadian or Australian where investors may have more appetite. All guess work though!
