Bloodshot - no problems. The potential scale is huge, hence NVS saying could potentially be the motherlode. Kaliba could be bigger than sentinel and I’m hopeful of a maiden jorc for that around end of the month hopefully north of 50mt which for $1m-$1.5m of drilling is good. To prove up a sentinel style deposit we’d probably need to spend $20-$30m drilling. That’s why we need to sell Casa.

It really depends how that soil samples and aerial data translates into actual resource and reserves. The data shows the scale MIGHT be there. If drilling does prove up the data we currently have then the deposit is well worth the inteeet of majors.

We’re not comparable to sentinel yet as that’s all been proved up, we’ve just got some nice data. Talking purely about potential. Let’s assume depth of deposit averages 80m as per the kalaba drills. 3km by 3km (cheyeza west), 80m depth at 2.5 gravity density = 1.8b tonne deposit. Use the wider cheyeza area of 8km by 12km you get a 19.2b tonne deposit

Sentinel as of dec 17 had reserves of 870m tonnes.

Swizz- it certainly won’t cause any harm to PGM prices! Regardless though of whether prices do increase it will certainly be shaking the confidence of S Africa miners and make them question any further investment other than to ensure a stable power supply.

If you’re looking to enter the PGM market then you’d probably want to look outside S Africa. If you are a S African PGM miner then you’ll probably want to diversify outside of S Africa. This to me is the main benefit for Jandaga. At the time the BFS comes out there should be substantial interest in parties looking for such an asset.

In an ideal world we’d get a nice budding world going for us, however let’s wait for one offer before we go there!

Articles worth a read. Significant power outages in S Africa recently and these could get much worse. With 35% of palladium and 75% of PGMs being produced in S Africa this could have a knock on affect on supply. Smelters are likely to need continuous power so could be affected quite significantly.

I’m sure NVS will take the right balance between moving at speed and obtaining best possible outcome for the project, in my experience surest way to lose money on aim is to need to make x% by a certain time- makes people reckless and chasing the hype of pump and dump stocks.

Hopefully we’ll have a much clearer view on how the project will be developed in the next month or so. How much would a JV partner need to drill in how short a period and for how much of the project. Can the targets be spilt or do those all under the same licence have to stay together?

I’d also be keen to know how deep these deposits may be. Hopefully the aerial survey can give guidance on this, if anything like kalaba to date then cheap RC drilling to a few hundred metres could be done on scale relatively cheap to other projects having to drill at depth and wth diamond drills

With NVS previous comments about the plant not being designed as he’d have liked I would expect a new plant/plant set up. The above should show plant can be upgraded to handle 30k tonnes per month though

Mining friendly jurisdiction. Lazy valuation would be comparing to gold buy out prices of $40 per oz in ground against the palladium I.e. $120m on new resource. Even at a decent discount you get to too many multiples to ignore the value disconnect here and a BFS should take this out the hands of us mere PIs

Picked up just over 400k earlier. Economics are already great, but think those in the BFS will be considerably higher. Reduced capex, higher resource and better margins from higher palladium. I’m surprised the BOD are getting any sleep with the excitement they must have.
