5 weeks since drill moved about 5km to test outreach of anomaly
3 weeks since latest drill results
3 weeks since front end of plant was completed and “the back end to of the plant is expected to completed shortly and production will commence shortly after”

Much much better to drill where you have already got historical results from! Like shooting fish in a barrel..

The wait will be waiting for how the next stage will progress, that’s likely to be after a sale of Casa or JV of some type.

they’re already doing the metallurgical tests with final results expected soon - that was in the 28th November RNS. Expect we’ll be producing this year slowly ramping production up with the initial 10k per month target being hit at some point in January. I expect Don Bailey and his team already have thoughts on then increasing it to nearer the 30k previous target.

China - you really are sounding blue today! I’m more up beat on the plant, recent RNScomments and tweets all show it’s progressing well. Will be great to have some income especially if market confidence takes a while to return..

JORC I have to say I don’t see the point of trying to release a maiden before year end when we are still awaiting assays from such a large part of this drill programme, at least we can make educated guesses as to the resource size in the meantime from what has been released.

Fulmar, apologises May have misunderstood. It’s certainly in one of the proactive interviews if not the investor call that by 2.5km is mentioned. If you can’t find let me know and I’ll go through some notes

Fulmar - I’ll answer your question in new thread. I get confused when you start using tonne, oz and lbs all in one message. By understanding is - The 500metres by 500metres area alreaady drilled with average depth of 80m should contain a 50m tonne resource body - this obviously is not pure copper (need to multiply by the average grade - if you used 0.5% that would be 250,000tonnes of contained copper.

NVS has referred to positive soil anomaly at kalaba of 5km by 2.5km. That is 50 times the 500m by 500m zone - again that is Kalaba alone.

In the investor call NVS did say one of the DD rigs had been moved to the 5km line and results would be soon (although delays at assay lab may occur...) obviously it’ll take lots of drilling to see if the strike is continuous, but if it is then wow!

Worth listening to the latest investor call around the 2minute stage on where one of the rigs is..

Like all of us I think he needs more data, ideally a maiden jorc at Zamsort, production figures from the plant and now unlikely but a new scoping study on Casa. Then good rationale could be used to support a considerably higher SP target. As I said in the meantime it’s for us mortals to try and figure out the potential before any normal reports are produced by the company

CB - every time you make the John Mayer comment I chuckle. John Mayer can not aggressively re-rate the SP. how exactly would he do that? He can’t control the market.. Any broker promising a higher SP would be sued when it didn’t happen. What he can do is aggressively re-rate the broker target SP - that he controls, that he can say he will aggressively re-rate.

Makes more sense now doesn’t it? We’re at the time where the more savvy can calculate resource size and value before reports and revised broker note comes in. The SP re-rate will happen, but will probably be driven by corporate action ie some formidable JV or sale on one of our asset or who knows maybe a major taking some shares in us on the open market- wouldn’t that be a nice Christmas present!

Fulmar - better to calculate using total shares including warrants/options which won’t be in current market cap.

Agree the potential for Zamsort is huge, just need a wad of cash to drill the he’ll out of kalaba and maybe throw a few holes in some of the other targets.

Jeremiah- I think $10 is bargain basement price and hope for nearer $40, but I’d much rather sell Casa and reinvest in Zamsort than hold on to it for a few years spending time and money progressing a BFS, permits etc all in a not particularly stable country whilst having to raise and dilute to progress both projects! Let a mid tier company with multiple assets and more money take that risk!

Think we’ll know more when one of the majors play their hand. In meantime we just do everything in our control to understand the asset and showcase its potential. Casa sale and being able to fully find at least a full drill of the kalaba area would only strengthen our hand.

Westie - think it’s 18 minutes into the May investor call that the drilling for Zamsort was expected to cost between $1m-$1.5m. Looks like that’s already produced a resource of 50mt with an average of say 0.5% = 250kt contained copper.
At a conservative $100 per tonne in ground value that $25m ($300 per tonne = $75m)

Point to above being the returns per $ spent on drilling at Zamsort. The sale of sturec and Casa has to balance out getting a fair price with needing cash without crazy dilution. The real prize will really come into reinvesting that into further Zamsort drilling.

No worries, NVS was extremely critical of the old Zamsort management but other than making a point of cleaning the board hasn’t been to scathing on old ortac guys that I’m aware of. Just glad we have the assets we have and now the right team in place to take them forward

I know his sales would not register, that’s exactly what I said!! ! Balme was in charge but bought in NVS to replace him so he could retire. Whether he was nudged into leaving the company entirely we don’t know, but Balme made a great appointment in NVS and in making the original investments in Zamsort and Casa. Sturec was a complete mess though!

Fulmar. Hard to know now any sell wouldn’t constitute a director sell and need to be notified. However it was under Anthony balme that our initial interests in both Casa and Zamsort were bought so he probably knows a lot more about them then you or I. He also bought NVS into the company and I suspect has contact with him, therefore if Casa and Zamsort as good as we hope it would be odd for him to sell! Suspect it’s others

Old news. Takes less than a minute to check prems RNS to see they converted on the 9th November. Who knows if they’ve since sold
