i believe those solar panels are just a token gesture to prove the concept, from figures i calculated previously you'd need a solar farm to generate enough power for the racing, not complaining, it's great that the concept was proved but just saying those few panels really would barely power a kettle.

BB how do you begin commercial roll out without a product to sell ? Your attempts at excusing AFC are becoming desperate.

BB 100% wrong, I have a reasonable size holding here, I trade about 25% of that holding and am currently trapped in on my last buy at 66p, I have always been totally honest on my trades, I want to see AFC do well and never talk it down for my own selfishness, if the price goes down I lose money, simple as that ! But I will continue to call out AFCs failure to deliver, we are all expecting massive news over the last months of this year, I’m just saying don’t get your hopes up because we’ve been round this merry go round many times and been left sorely disappointed.

Scarpa, I bought in many years ago at 60p, do you blame me for trading during that time ? We are all here to make money, why do you not get that ?

Everyone keeps saying be patient, give them time, this was 2 years ago and yet again states as we begin commercial roll out, 1 system in 2 years is not commercial roll out.

So by stating that and then not disclosing details of it's order book, what's the effect AB ?

i'm still waiting for an answer from AFC investor relations regarding the 'how best to announce the order book' comment. I emailed AFC's financial PR company and got the impression they knew nothing about it !

Mucksy, the reason I didn’t post anything positive yesterday is because I noted the word milestone, the last time we had milestones was PLACE and we waited months and months and then AFC went silent. How many milestones do we still have left with ABB before we get a sale ? If we are still at the prototype stage and very knowledgeable posters have highlighted it can takes years for a contract to be signed go figure.

The one thing we had to look forward to with a confirmed date was the motor show, when it was announced last year that AFC Energy would be the main sponsor everyone was ecstatic, ‘think how many people will see our tech in action !’, now it’s been dropped those same people are saying ‘don’t know why we were going there anyway’, which ever way you spin this it’s a poor show, they should have been ready 12 months ago with a system, they’ve had an extra year to prepare, but don’t listen to me, just look at the SP reaction.

AFC fail yet again, I said they won’t be at the motor show an got slated for it, also a rebrand ? What happened to CH2ARGE ? This is worrying.

No one cares BB, you know as well as I do you’ve only got to be seen to be doing the right thing, carbon offsetting is the biggest con out there, so you pay a company to plant a few trees so you can say you’re carbon neutral, at some point those trees will be cut down, and who monitors the amount of trees planted is relative to the contracts received ? Not one company is looking at replacing diesel generators because they care about the planet, they’re doing it to save money on fuel, if there will actually be a saving using a fuel cell (we don’t know yet), public image that they are doing the right thing, or to meet any environmental standards they are certified for (again to help win customers not to save the planet), they really wont care about particulates, hence why the government wanted everyone to buy diesel cars not that long ago.

As I suspected, while the fuel cell is a green alternative to diesel generators maybe the simple answer is just biofuel. Time will tell.

In Texas, Reuters reports that Exxon Mobil and Chevron are looking to jump on the renewable diesel bandwagon but want to do it in a way that doesn’t require expensive upgrades to their existing facilities. They want to both produce RD but also Sustainable Aviation Fuel from vegetable oils but are against major capital expenses to do so. Exxon is said to have gone so far as to create a task force with ASTM to look at how to go about it while Chevron has confirmed it wants to co-process biobased feedstocks in its fluid catalytic crackers.

I decided to contact the advisors directly to ask when we can expect an answer on the orderbook, they replied and said I would need to take this up with AFC which I will do now. I can’t see that this information is confidential but let’s see what AFC say....

Completely agree Notes and the one country that did anything to help reversed their policy at the worst possible time, other nations should have followed them, not the other way around, but China will be worried because how are they going to fund their older generation with less young people to support them, at some point it's going to hit them financially, what they need is something that can wipe out their older generation overnight to they don't have that burden....

If it is in association with AFC and they (we) have paid for this and AFC don't show up on the mobile page then more fool them.

I made the mistake of viewing the website on my iPhone, i realise not many people do this these days, if you scroll right to the bottom of the webpage on an iPhone the AFC logo is not there ! Apologies for being an old fossil like myself. On my phone it says in association with - Select Car, MyEnergi, IMI & National Geographic.

BB, that link just shows the AFC Logo, doesn't take much to impress you then ! Tbh honest i had to look hard to see that.
