Share Price16 Jun 2020 15:36
It is not just about getting a 'good share price' , it is about getting a 'stable share price'.
This is never going to be possible with the current liquidity.
With the number of share trades so very low, it only takes a few buys/sells to move the price significantly, either way.
Yes, we need good news. But we also need many more new investors, both short term and long term, to make the market for SEE share trading more stable.
If you look at the SEE website, it shows that nearly 50% of the shares are owned by institutional investors, 28.15% are 'not in public hands', whatever that means, and the remainder, I assume are owned by people like us, private investors.
So 25% or so are owned by private investors. That is about 840 million shares.
We get significant moves in the share place when only 'tens of millions' of shares are traded daily !
Lets hope the combination of imminent good news, more public awareness of DMS / SEE , and the flow of new trading from US investors may be the impetus we need.
I have been a SEE share holder since 2016 and have made purchases over that period to the present date.
I have followed the story and have confidence in the product.
My main worries are :
- Delivery / execution of the product in good time (Ensuring Profit)
- Lack of management ownership (SEE shares)
- Breakdown of Jobs/Roles in the company (i.e what are people doing ?)
I believe DMS is going to make a profit, and this have kept me in the game.
But as time goes on the loss of opportunity is very worrying.
