And this is why a company like Qualcomm will want to takeover Seeing Machines - They look at the potential future revenue/profits, not the current share price.
Companies like Qualcomm want and need strong products and strong revenues that will last more than a few years. They look at the next decade and beyond.

Like you, I am not greedy. For my 6 year growing investment, something in the region of 30 - 60p would be acceptable.

That is great news for Qualcomm shareholders!
Let us hope they are thinking about taking over Seeing Machines. Like most PI's, I cannot wait another 2 years to see a profit.

June 2018, share price reached 13.25 pence,
with a capitalisation of c. 325 Million, about the same as today.
All the great developments and associations and our value as still not moved on from 4 years ago.
We really need a fabulous takeover offer if we are to get any kind of a fair return for our investment.

I totally believe in the SM IP/software, that is why I am too heavily invested. The only worry I have is if we have another market crash, for whatever reason, and we get taken out for a song!

The daily share trading volumes are very low, just PI's taking some small cash and some probably swapping into an ISA and/or pension.
I would not be surprised if the major share holders are as already aware of the revenues to come shortly, or even that a takeover is on the table.
Lets face it, the SM management have never cared for the private investor, except when they needed cash.

Surely, that is the point. If we did have a buyer who saw the value in SM then he would be willing to pay a higher price today and consequently more people would sell at this higher price, and the price would increase until the buyer decided this was the value of SM.
The fact is there are just no buyers, for whatever reason. Hitherto, an event has not occurred to encourage new buyers to enter the market.
Although I am a long term holder, in the back of my mind, I still feel that the SM management, for whatever reason, hold back on their RNS's, especially where the issue of revenue and forecast is concerned. Unfortunately, this is exactly what investors want to know!

If the biggest ever deal of A$125 did not move the share price, then what kind of event do we need to happen to generate a significant share price movement.

The board of SM must now have a very good idea of the revenue that is to come in the next month's and years.
The market, the PI's deserve nothing less than a full update of contracts and a property revenue forecast.
Since 2016 I have been continually investing and taking risk with my money. I feel like many others that we need a true update of the SM position.
This should generate a re-rate of the share price.

You make a good point about the Institutional Holders, who own 60%+. I am hoping that their strength will help push the bid price to an acceptable level, that is, close to SM teal value.

All our potential bidders know the business and our future value. So why would they hold off to bid. This seems an ideal time to negotiate a good price for the company.
I think the current share price is irrelevant.
The bidders will pay what it is worth for the future revenues, known and unknown.
I would not be surprised if talks are in progress right now.

I think we may not see any more RNS's.
It will be a bid(s) and a take over.

Russia states there had been substantial progress in the peace talks. All we need now is a surprise RNS for a good start to the work.

Continued increasing growth and bigger margins from both auto and aftermarket in the next quarters and well beyond. And Aviation seems to be getting its wings too!
We must now be in the spot light of some of the bigger tech giants, including Qualcomm for a potential move on us.
They must be thinking , grab now before the very big profits start rolling into their coffers.
There is a decade of profits and technical expansion awaiting any potential buyer(s ) of Seeing Machines.
Although the world is in a bad place at the moment, and many companies are suffering hits, there is a big light at the end of the tunnel for Seeing Machines.

About 15 million shares out of 4.2 billion have changed hands and we are down 12%.
Shame it never works the other way !
All you can do now is hold.
The IP and products are still best in class.

It is just one crisis after the other.
The only sure thing is the Seeing Machine IP and DMS product. I guess we are going to have to see this through to a takeover or re-rate.
