Marmaris you do pose an interesting question re why not demonstrate production and then JV.

Cost them $4m+ just for the ice road and test this year. The expensive drilling and another ice road was done by GB who five years ago were coining in cash via that Alaskan tax rebate scheme which was abruptly cancelled.

Back in 2015 Pat Gavin the then Ceo of GB was talking about producing and trucking but that’s when they were financially robust.

Marmaris I believe that the reason Alkaid 1 is not being put in production is it will need complex approval and significant Capex as it is located in “Virgin” ground.

The horizontal wells apparently do two things, firstly enable higher recovery but secondly mean that they can be put in production at will without the environmental oversight required for virgin ground or the significant Capex involved.

This is why they now distinguish the Alkaid and Talitha near pipeline acreage because it can be fast tracked due to the brownfield status of the Dalton highway.

The point I was making was they are going to concentrate on Airshagyl with the aim of a move from local to international pricing. The new tender for drilling A9 clearly demonstrates this is where their energy is going.

So hopefully 5,000-10,000 barrels from the deeps in 2020 and once that is at $30 net then it’s a wall of cash to really crack on!

Clive at the AGM said that as soon as they have three flowing on Airshagyl they would apply for the international pricing licence. Also getting to that point meant they would concentrate the drilling there to increase the chance of getting the higher pricing.

801 is not on Airshagyl so it would not count there.

Calling the point at which a stock turns up is an art which most of us struggle with. Those who can do it regularly drive Ferraris!

My call was last month on the repricing of the MJF, clearly a tad premature.

So will the A8 flow test be that turning point? Possibly and for some probably.

More importantly with a steady flow of big announcements coming and internal funding now secure one of those bits of “Big News” will be the catalyst. The only fools will be those who late for the last piece of the puzzle by which time this will be 25p plus.

Time to get on board!

Just MMs looking for cheap stock and checking there are no nervous sellers looking to drop stock on a down tick.

Now meandering back upwards and likely to close up on the day like yesterday.

Mind you yesterday’s fishing expedition yielded that 1.56m cheap seller so it’s difficult to argue with their approach. A bit more buying and no large end of sag cheap sells and we will be heading through 11p nicely.

Good to get the last of any soft stock into firmer hands before the RNS, so oddly the MMs are doing long term holders a favour really.

All of tonight’s postings point to Caspian having much more complex and potentially much richer assets than the market currently understands. But delivery is still the issue!

All they need to do is get the cashflow flowing from the MJF and the landscape may change logarithmically from here. Funds to get busy with!
