They have stated that StemprintER needs to be in a "standalone diagnostics company" to achieve its true value and potential.

Okyo is not a diagnostics Company and StemprintER would be lost in amongst its other assets.

I cannot see the logic of divesting StenprintER to Okyo, it doesn't achieve Tiziana's objective for the asset, and the asset would be in the same position as it is today. There would be absolutely no point whatsoever.

StemprintER would be lost in the Okyo portfolio so we would be in the same position, eg,. not realising the true value of the StemprintER asset. Therefore divesting to Okyo completely defeats the objective stated by the Company.

None of their 6 antibodies have been approved, they are all still in development.

There's been a lot of discussion about StemprintER being transferred to Okyo but if you think about it , the concept goes completely against the Co's objective, which is to have the asset in a standalone Diagnostics Company. If it were moved to Okyo it would not sit in a diagnostics Company and would still be lost amongst Okyo's main assets, so there would be no point in doing it.

Despite all the huge progress on the pipeline and financially, we currently have an mcap the same as Oct 2017.

I do not understand how the market is valuing Chi-Med at the moment and can only conclude it is mainly down to geo-political risk and nothing more.

I should add that the record date is a date, not a time, Stockmarket rules state the date only

If you own TILS shares on the date of record you will be entitled to whatever the Company states, shares in the Newco for example. It is really that simple. And if you dispose of TILS shares the day after the record date you'd still be entitled to newco shares as the record date is a single snapshot.

The record date is equivalent to an ex-dividend record date. If you won TILS shares on the date of record you will be entitled to whatever the Company states, shares in the Newco for example. It is really that simple.

Usain_, just to add, no one works it out, only market forces

The share price of tils will change on the morning after the StemprintER asset is demerged, it will be subject to the usual market forces - more shares sold than purchased means the price will drop, and more shares purchased than sold means the price will rise. There is no science or specific valuation calculation behind it whatsoever.

agreed, you may get 1 per 1 tiziana share, 5 shares for 1 Tiziana share or any such number - the point is the quantity will be directly proportional to the number of Tiziana shares that people hold. This type of demerger and capital reduction is very common. The critical point is there will be direct correlation between the shares shareholders have in Tils and the shares they will be apportioned in the new Newco.
