NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 14 October 2020, a claim form was issued before Her Majesty's High Court of Justice for the reduction of the Company's share premium account by £4,000,000.00 (the "Claim").

AND NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Claim is directed to be heard before an Insolvency and Companies Court Judge at the Rolls Building, 7 Rolls Buildings, Fetter Lane, London EC4A 1NL on 27 October 2020.

ANY creditor or shareholder of the Company desiring to oppose the making of an order for the confirmation of the reduction of the share premium account of the Company should appear at the time of the hearing in person or by counsel for that purpose.

A copy of the Claim will be provided to any such person requiring the same by the undermentioned firm of solicitors on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

In theory this equates to approx 2.1 pence per share

I don't think the size of Tiziana is an issue at all - they outsource the entire clinical trial to a CRO, including the logging of data as do most small and medium size Biotechs. These CRO's manage the entirre end to end process of the trial.

Personally, based on Edison's list I am only interested in Oxford Biomedica and Chi-Med, the latter being my largest strategic long-term investment by some considerable margin. Beigene and Genmab are not covered in the document but are Co's I have followed with interest for a few years. Iam still perplexed as to why Beigene attracts its current valuation.

The Company is very confident, as is Dr Howard Weiner, which is why they are spending a lot of money on a clinical trial and FDA dialogue.

No, it's the opening hearing which is a formality and no decision is made at that point. There's nothing to report and nothing to say, hence no RNS.

Even the second hearing is really just a formality. All the legal work would have been done in advance and be watertight so the chances of the decision going against the Company is extremely small indeed.

it's worth remembering that when you buy or sell Ordinary Shares the MM's can settle the trade with ADR's, equally when you buy or sell ADR's the MM's can settle the trade with OS's - there is effectively a single pool which can be explained as follows:-

When you instruct your broker to buy ordinary shares on your behalf, your broker will have the option of buying DIs on AIM, or buying Nasdaq listed ADRs. Conversely, when you wish to sell your position, your broker will either sell them on AIM, or otherwise, may sell them on the Nasdaq market. Any necessary conversion of securities would first be effected in the manner described above. In any event, this would be a seamless process for shareholders. Unless they particularly wish to give specific instructions in that regard (in which case they are free to do so) shareholders will not need to be concerned with which market their shares are purchased from or sold into. Brokers will simply buy or sell in the market where there is the most liquidity at that time.

There is a Laura Fonda who works at Microsoft, Bill Gates is a large Private Investor of Microsoft, that is probably the only connection! No one knows if that is the Laura Fonda who owns a large holding of Tiziana shares and even if they are, the links to the former MS CEO and Chairman is tenuous at best!

I agree Whimax - Accustem will certainly be fairly irrelevant in the short term if the Covid trial is successful, because there would potentially be a very significant uplift in the valuation of Foralumab. I think some posters took Whimax's post to be negative on Accustem - it wasn't, but a successful Covid trial in Brazil would minimise its significance.

I've watched with interest Everest's growth and recent IPO, and how they seem to have rapidly built a business on in-licensing drugs. I often wonder if Chi-Med have considered building that into their strategy to accelerate growth, because that type of dual strategy has certainly worked for Beigene, whose mcap has grown tenfold in the last 4 years.

I hope Chi Med can also expand rapidly rather than being acquired.
