RE: Nuclear or Unclear?20 Mar 2021 10:42
It has been noticeable in the past few months that many think Covid is going away (ignoring the scientists views) due to the vaccine roll out. Whilst it is true the vaccine is reducing deaths and hospitalisations, it is still unclear the impact on transmission (it will have some impact extent, unkown as yet). As a consequence investors who a few months ago would have rushed into any share that mentioned a covid product are not doing so now to the same extent. Look at travel stocks for example, many investors are going for covid recovery stocks now. The reality is that Covid will be with us for many years and testing will be ongoing. The results for the BT are very encouraging and when approved for use the market may wake up to the potential for DVRG. It could be earlier when the penny drops with people that to attend any mass event you are going to require a valid negative test. The review's due on April 12th into events and travel are likely to indicate testing requirements going forward. Apologies for my long winded opinion as to why the DVRG SP did not rise significantly on the BT evaluation news.
It could also be that many investors do not understand the technology, not just for covid. It a bit like how many fail to understand that DVRG revenues are not solely derived from contracts but for providing services under master and collaborative agreements.
