Sorry, but I hate to disagree with you & fleccy, but to say you only loose when you sell is nonsense. I am loosing a lot, but if the vod sp recovers then I can get it back. Don't ever fall into that trap. But I think vod will go up, & is a bargain at todays sp, so I am not selling, but I don't kid myself that I am not loosing. Ok Its only on paper, but paper,(or plastic) is what money is made of. Anyway good luck, because I think we are both on the same side?!

I think you should re read my post, it referred to your post at12.15 when you seemed suggest that jpam is last call by saying he's back again like an itch that wont go away, perhaps I miss understood you. Anyway say hello to your buddy Nick Read from me, then take his advice & relax.

If you invest on what the market thinks, does that mean,if the price is rising buy, but if its falling sell? Some wise people suggest you should buy when the price has fallen,then sell when it has gone up. Perhaps your wise man could see into the future? The big question is how do you know what the market thinks other than from the share price. I think what your wise man was really saying was, only buy shares if they going to rise, & then sell them just before they fall. Pretty obvious really if you can see into the future.

I think mrd thinks you are last call. If you don't want to sound like him, try longer single posts instead of a barrage of machine gun posts.

Mrd. sometimes the sp falls at end of the day, but other times it rises. After 14 years have you still not got that? I guess there is a tendency for investors to take a profit at the end of the day, perhaps?

If I could ban shorting vod shares I would, but I can't, so move on. It,s all part of the fast & furious computerised global stock market. Vod up 2.60 today, so stop moaning.

What has the dark pool got to do with it. Nothing to do with uncrossing trades, or market manipulation, or being bummed by the US. How do you know Big funds & banks don't buy on the open market?.

Can someone please explain to mrd5432 what an uncrossing trade is, & also that the market is not being manipulated. As for us all being bummed! Well what can I say?

Thank you you for your words of wisdom?! Not sure why you addressed them to me! I don't think I want to go through another world war before the sp recovers. To be honest, you don't make any sense most of the time! But if you are bullish about vod shares then I will go along with that.

mrd. To loose 10k on vod today, you must be spread betting/cfd/ or day trading, or quite rich. over £800k worth 500,000 shares, if the latter then lets hope the sp soon recovers. Me, I'm only down today about 1/4 of that.,(real shares). It's just as well,I'm on the ground floor, not by a window of a high rise flat. I just hope, what goes down, must come up.(Vod shares that is, not bouncing dead bodies)!

Pokerchips, Some of your posts today have been very very strange. 11.42 & 12.05 you appear to be having a big pop at last call. but then you switch your attack to TomE. You don't make any sense sometimes. I think TomE was right with the points he made, but you just lost the plot.
