Think your self lucky you bought at 1.65 not £2 or £2.35, then you really would be in trouble. I have bought at different prices over 15 years or so, but I'm down about £100k from the sp high this year, but moaning about it isn't going to help. I used to admire you posts, but the last 2 make very little sense. You would have to be blind not to notice that some might think that vod would be better off paying its debts than paying a very high divi. I listen to both points of view, & personally hope that vod can afford to continue its high divi, without the share price falling, but you just seem to have a blinkered point of view. If you own a large amount of vod shares, then of course the big recent falls are very bad. Comparing vodafone shares to owning a house is crazy. I own a house because i need to live somewhere. I own vod shares in the hope to make a profit.Totally different. So your post 0 out of 10.

Thanks a lot, I have to confess that understanding vodafone accounts is beyond me, but I suspect also beyond many other posters on this site that pretend otherwise. However any help is appreciated. I think sometimes common sense works better. So my simple question to you is. What is vods free cash flow minus its debts. I.E how much do we owe. Also would vod be better off reducing the divi to pay off the debt. It is such an obvious question, that is often ignored,(perhaps to avoid spooking the market). Do you know by the way, how much interest vod pays on its debt. & how much is the debt? Thanks for any info you can give me.
