Are you thinking of buying vod shares( I assume you don't hold any) at a lower price, or are you just making a general observation of the rapid fall in the vodafone sp? I am just curious as to your motivation for posting on this share chat.

Hello, I have to admit I was glad to see the back of you & your negative comments, but I would be a fool not to realise you predicted the recent large falls in the vod sp. I bought vod as a long term investment, & the only time i,ve sold is to buy back in an I S A . Do you think vod is now fairly priced, or does it have further to fall. I don't know if you short vod,& would just try & talk down the price, but I hope otherwise. I know that you think the divi & debt are too high, i e. (of course the divi, although it comes out of free cash flow), it is indirectly paid for by debt' but I guess management think they can generate more money by borrowing, than it costs to pay a high dividend. As for a new CEO, well how do you know that he is worse than the old CEO? Your other neg point was Brexit. I think the confusion is bad for everything, but do you think to leave would be bad for vod, or vise versa?

The $ to £ has changed from .75 to .76 so vod is actually up since the nasdaq opened. Can we go past 1.70, lets hope so.

I don't think vod shares are actually listed on the us stock exchange. However vodafone American depository shares are, on the nasdaq. I think that the £ to $ has no effect on the l.s.e. vod s/p, but does effect the A D S price quoted on the nasdaq. 1 vod A D S, also known as an A D R, is worth 10 vod shares, & if the dollar weakens against the pound, then the A.D.S. price will rise. Movements in the vod price on the nasdaq after the L.S.E has closed & after taking into account any currency movement may affect the sentiment for the opening price on the L.S.E. the next morning.

By good short/long, I mean the sp will increase short ,or long term. Not shorting!! I think the sp will go up slowly. 1.80+ by November.
