Hi Booboo, (or anybody) Do you know by how much % the divi is covered? & are you talking about covered by profits, or free cash flow,& what is the difference between free cash flow & profits? These are Questions that seem to confuse many? What happened to the vodafone cash cow, free cash flow that everybody banged on about, has it gone on repaying debt perhaps, which is perhaps good. Sorry to ask difficult questions, but it is better than just dummy spitting, & calling for the b.o.d. to resign, who should replace them? (Mikey perhaps, big promotion). what are the b.o.d doing wrong, & how should they do it , obviously pay back some debt, but if you can't afford to pay it back, without cutting investment, then what? Leave it to the b.o.d, is the obvious answer.

buzzby. I can't see the similarity between the vod sp & paint drying. Paint dries slowly, but vod fell 4% yesterday, & up & down like a yo yo today. Sounds to me like you should be playing roulette, black or white if you want a 50/50 chance. Good luck with Alba though, sounds a bit risky to me, typical frustration kind of bet, I've been there!

robleo, My average price paid is about 2.05, but I fail to see how calling vod a piece of s**t e.t.c. is going to help. Great today so far though, are we going to see a Mikey style yankie fall at the end? lets hope not.

Thanks mole man. Always welcome your posts. Shame you cant be a bit more positive though. Does vod need to issue any more bonds? Can it survive on the one's already issued, & is the rate already fixed on those bonds?

Thanks moleman, no wonder we are in trouble. 2.7% is a lot with current very low base rates. Still, I am in for the long run, so hope profits will be enough to cover. I still don't get why so many on here were saying the % on debt did not matter.
