Thanks for both replies, It sounds to me like vod were just hedging against any share price movement. I can't however see how the closing of the options will effect the share price though. Perhaps fleccy will help me out yet again? Thank's fleccy.

slarti. Where did you get the idea vod has taken out options against the sp going up whilst buying back? Surely that would be insider trading & illegal? Can anybody advise me on that? Fleccy or mole perhaps?

PFen. The point you are missing, is your posts are so contradictory. The vod board don't control the share price, it is the investors who control it. You complain about a low share price, but also complain about vodafone management. It is investor negativity that controls the share price. Clearly, as fleccy says you are missing a lot. Of course fleccy may be a bit over optimistic, but who knows?

PFen. Why don't you apply for the job of the new vod C.E.O. & see if you can do better? As for you missing something? I think we all Know the answer to that one! Happy new year?!

Mikey, As you well know I don't attack everybody who is negative, Mole-man for example, I only attack negative idiots. As for you owning vod shares, you said some time ago that you had enough, & sold all your vod shares. If that is that just another one of your fantasies, then why don't you sell now as you are clearly are very negative about the company that you owe your living to.
