Newbie. If it turns out to be only a rumour, then surely the sp will just fall back again. What good is that? Still I hope there may be other driving forces. Of course with the massive weight of money in the U.S. it will always influence world stock markets?

I was going to predict 1.30 for next Friday, but you beat me to it, so I will go1.31 which is the highest price I have paid for vod over the last 6 months ranging down to 1.10, so things are looking up. Well done with being 1st this week beating me by a short head, with 3rd place a distance behind. I am sure we are all very pleased to be proved wrong though this week. By the way Android, you can come back down the mountain now as the markets have closed!

Hi fleccy, It always refreshing to hear from someone who admits they are losing. As for me, everybody knows I am a loser??,but losers, can very quickly become winners? From 70k down too only 10k is not bad, & as you say, " we are down", you can always blame the wife?

Android. The M.C.B. buy back shares our listed by Goldman Sachs most days in the VOD R.N.S. They are bought in many transactions over the day, & I doubt they would be off book. Have a look at the next vod R.N.S.

I would be glad if I had bought them at 1.23, as I would be about £1.3million in profit at the current price.

Hello compound. It sounds a bit dodgy in the U.S. So probably the reason for the fall of the vod sp at the end. This sought of thing happens all the time surely? Annoying of course but not exactly disaster? Well not yet lets hope. I just don't get the over reaction here? Sorry if I like to stay calm, but it usually? works for me! Ok, just me then??
