The problem is a question of confidence and credibility.
The picture painted by the present management is one of a terminally ill one trick pony of a well that die any minute. Presented with this picture, would you invest in this penny share on AIM?
Enthusiasm, forward planning, and positivity of management do not exist in HUR.
We shareholders never thought that we would still be sub 10p at this financial stage(debt free) of the game!
I wonder what CA thinks?

Best not to look at the SP for a while - as the SP will drift and drift - due to the lack of positive news, no confidence in poor management, and no business plan. Not being negative, but, like many LTHs, I’ve see this all before.
7p- 8p wouldn’t surprise me in the least.

Ron - good post - whatever gets them gone I will support. Not being able to attend, how can a shareholder see influence their departure? I will sign pretty much anything. Do we even know if CA want them gone as well? If Maris stays then I’ll vote with my feet! Bad eggs don’t change back into good eggs.

I cannot see how you give credit to Maris for ‘financial discipline’! It is the PoO that has saved HUR. Nothing else. Anything other than strict financial management would end him up in jail - especially after the recent court fiasco!
He is a terrible CEO, providing no leadership or enthusiasm to the board or its shareholders. That is why CA showed strength and took preventive action. I , like you, hope there will be another team in charge in the near future. In the meantime, a vote of no confidence is what I would like to see promoted.

Albi - Couldn't agree more. There has to be a vote of no confidence for Maris and his cronies, CFO and Co Sec.

0161 - You present a good argument. I just have no confidence in the management. They’ll find a way to whittle and waste away the income without benefit to shareholders. Can’t we just fire the whole BoD, and let BW do it’s job, and send the oil on its way and pop the dosh into the bank? CA , as shareholders, can oversee the process.

I also would like to see Maris+CFO sidekick ousted by CA and the rest of the board. He is a bad egg. Does that CPR say he is only qualified for AIM companies and not for the bigger more establish oil companies?

Perhaps one should enquire as to why the last CFO left the company? Not happy with the 'creative' accounting required ?
