Please tell me that you are not using the 'volume sold' and 'volume bought' numbers on the share price tab of this site.

Sp Angel are not unique with their forecasts, bearing in mind that they validated their price assumptions against Roskill. Given the extent of the drop they feel is coming, they can only be looking at the historical price movements of Vanadium and basing their forecasts on that, particularly 2005. Whether this is correct is another matter. I tend to think that the current situation is likely to be even more dramatic but will not fade anywhere near as quickly.

No reason based on fundamentals but the short term movements will be based on the short term decisions of the shareholders to sell/hold/buy. Clearly at points the sells will outweigh the buys and the share price will adjust downwards. This does not mean that the party is over and it's all downhill from here! Nothing goes up in a straight line and people will always take profits along the way.

The only slight irritation is that we took on board a 'short termer' institution in the last capital raise.

A lot of paranoia around this morning. I agree with Faramog, we have never hit SP Angel's forecast before it is raised so what is the problem other than disagreeing with their Vanadium price forecast? Time will adjust that. It really would be ridiculous if they stuck to a $35/kg forecast for 2019 in June when the price had been above $100/kg for the first 6 months.

There is clearly a seller about and the seller has a name now. The price action this morning suggests that they are active in the market - it is not a tree shake as there are shares available to buy. But we have seen this before a number of times over the last few years and each time the share price has recovered and moved on more strongly. During September when they dumped 8m shares and we had 2 week strike the share price still finished 7p higher at the end of the month than it started.

Quality institution that. Nothing like a long term holder. At least we know where a fair amount of the large selling has been coming from.

The strange thing is that it is easy to see that what he is saying is just not true. Just click on the share charts and you can see where it was in July 2017. I have no idea why he even writes something so easily proven to be false.

I would say 19 to 30p+ is pretty strong. My point is that many people look purely at the rise to determine when to derisk/topslice irrespective of the change in fundamentals. On that basis it is irrelevant how much the profitability increased.

There seem to be a number today. I suppose it is the 1st of the month. I have never really noticed in previous months whether this is often the case.
