Well the trades weren't huge but I suspect that we have not seen all of the trades published yet. I would like to say that all will be clear when they do but as this mechanism is used to obfuscate it would be wrong to do so!

That I can't say for sure. Whilst the momentum has been positive, it is a Friday and, as somebody pointed out, the last day of the month, so trading has the potential to be somewhat different today. I do believe that the momentum is likely to continue into next week however and if the Vanadium price ticks upwards on Asian Metal/Vanadiumprice.com (the places where the price change is most visible to investors) then that should add to the positive sentiment.

It depends where and when you look as to whether you considered it to be a strong start. Looking at the live trades the start did appear to be strong as there was some buying. It did not affect the quoted price, however, which then succumbed to the normal morning pattern. As such, I wouldn't get too upset if there was a statement suggesting that it was a strong start.

As usual, we may not have the full picture currently so this may change as the delayed trades unfold.

Against which we have buyers (closing shorts or otherwise), especially in the afternoon. All of which goes to show how complex the picture is currently .

Back to the normal morning pattern. Let's see how well the rise erases the drop over the rest of the day. Don't be surprised if the end of week trading is slightly different as there are bound to be some short term holders that don't remain invested over a weekend.

If 30p is important to them then they may well be in for a bit of a shock this afternoon based on yesterday's activity.

Considering the start we usually get, this has to be considered pretty good so far.

Very odd currently. The quoted mid price has gone up and down 0.75p twice in the last 30 minutes at a point in time when the published trading has been pretty flat. Either someone is pretty bored at their desk or there are a number of unpublished trades driving the price.

If they are trying to be discreet they appear to be failing.

It seems clear that there is a fair amount of background buying even though the visible large trades appear to be sells (150k and 275k). Another wave coming in now by the looks of things.

Never traded BMN fatbanker. I don't do trading as was bitten badly many years ago. I never found a system that worked consistently and without consistency you never end up making money even though you can win short term.

I think that I will go along with that being a buy even though it is slightly lower than the buys around it but higher than the sells. It occurred at a time of a strong rise so suspect it was worked and was the underlying cause of the rise. I have been thinking that the trading activity is indicative of our friends across the water buying in again as we are no longer seeing the afternoon dip. Makes you wonder whether they are indeed closing their position.

Well, well, well. That was sudden.

Well, there is some concrete reason to increase the 'hopeometer' to 'vague hope' from 'despair' as the trucks are at least on order as opposed to a desire. I don't recall them as ever having bought equipment before!

The processes in many developed countries are tied up in red tape but the security of tenure means that any subsequent operation is rated much more highly than a similar operation in a developing country and this valuation is reflected throughout its history. Which tells you a lot about CGNR! The valuation here is so low because the market is pretty much convinced that very little meaningful will ever happen and who can blame it given progress to date.

This is possibly one of the most frustrating companies on the market for an investor. I have little doubt that there is a deposit here that is worth exploring and developing. But the executive team have no real interest in doing so. Look at the 2019 drilling campaign - 600m! 600! Is it really worth it? The cost of such a campaign is insignificant and yet it is all they are planning for the year. Last year they did 1700m but were only planning 1000m. Nothing in 2017 as far as I can see and not much in 2016. All of which, you have to assume, is purely to justify the company ticking over and providing the principles with a hobby and some retirement funding.

You have to conclude that, until the executive team is replaced en masse, the share price will continue in its gradual decline. I am sure there will be periods when new people buy in thinking that this is unbelievable value and the price will rise accordingly, but the decline will likely reestablish itself when their enthusiasm dissipates.

Designed to set the tone for the day. I would add that we probably still have our 150k seller who has been active for as long as I can remember now and who dumped a couple yesterday, including early in trading so we may see another one pop up today. To be honest, the pattern is difficult to discern some days as there appear to be multiple aspects ongoing.

Whilst too early to say, it does appear that we have a 50k buyer to perhaps offset the 30k/50k seller (I note that we had another one of the latter at a key moment this morning so it seems that they are still attempting to control things).

We have seen some large, round number buys during this shorting period so I am not sure how indicative this is of shorts closing. What is obvious is that the usual morning take down is evident again today. The key is the response. If these drops are negated more and more aggressively as the days progress then they will be less and less willing to induce them.

There has certainly been some evidence that shorts are opened and reversed every day but it is difficult to say whether larger, longer term shorts have been closing. I think the biggest indicator will be price stability, particularly relating to the morning drop, rather than the relentless daily price drops.

That was actually one of the most positive days we have had for a long while in terms of trading activity (bar the recent RNS days). Whilst we normally have a drop in the morning which has proved difficult to turnaround during the day, today we actually managed to do so and finished with the highest trade of the day (26p). This suggests that tomorrow is likely to at least start on a positive note although I fully expect the normal morning take down subsequently. However, today does at least have the feel of a potential change in sentiment.
