RE: Coal - the end of the line8 Jun 2019 10:59
Lemur was a means to an end when it was taken over. It is now, and has been for some time, a project that does not fit with the company vision. As such, it should be separated. Whether that is through a trade sale or demerger does not particularly bother me, although receiving funds that reduce the need for debt if such is used for the Vanchem purchase would be great. A JV through to production would not be my preferred route although that has the potential to deliver most value in the long term.
I suspect that this will come to a head within the next 12 months along with many other pieces of news.
