Why would they start doing that all of a sudden??

Ovets, i dont know the outcome ofcourse, apologies if my post came across as such. The “roughly halved” statement is due to posters here who attended a previous AGM and reported that it was said that the arbitrators cut depends on the size of an award. If a we end up with a rather large award of 100 mio plus, I believe it was said that they will take somewhere between 40-50%. If it’s less, great, but I’d rather keep expectations low and stay prudent. I’m sorry if my post came across as if I know any more than everybody else, that was not my intention. Let’s hope for some good news soon…

Meant to add to my post, that it is a conforming fact that arbitrators won’t get paid until we do, so that give me some hope that collecting of an award will be handled by competent people

This is my concern aswell. That the Award which has been roughly halved already by arbitrators will be halved again in order to collect it. And knowing Sam he will probably throw in half of our remaining share of Sealion too

Let’s hope things for once turn out positive for rkh shareholders… surely this case is not dismissed, there will be an award. The risk as I see it, is purely size and how/when it can be collected, which wouldn’t have been a big deal if our glorious leaders hadn’t left us in this precarious cash position we are in now

Much, yes that would translate to a shareprice increase of around 30p. Fingers crossed

It has been discussed here a while back. I am not sure but I think the sources was from a past AGM. Much is correct that it is a sliding scale where the higher it goes the higher the fee, and from memory I think it is capped around 40%. Perhaps someone else here can give a fuller answer??

Ofcourse, but in your example of a 250m£ Award, lawyers would take upwards of 40% if I remember correctly. So a re-rating is unlikely to get us to 45p IMO. I am optimistic about the outcome too, but let’s keep it real :-)

Next weeks oil price will have no impact on the OM result… we want a higher oil price so Harbour will get this thing started

I read it as we would have a ruling, but as any seasoned rkh victim, I am fully expecting an underwhelming, ambiguous, confusing or disappointing update that will raise more questions than it answers. The only thing that is pretty certain is that whatever it says the shareprice will either:
1. Drop because update was disappointing
1. Drop because update was good but was already priced in
1. Drop because update was neither good nor bad or couldn’t be understood
That being said, I remain fully invested as I can’t bear the heartbreak of seeing this rocket to the moon the moment I sell

Chips are down… within 9 days we should see one of those two levels. Surely it doesn’t take 4 years to find out RKH have no case, this would be absurd! However size does matter in this case I’m afraid. What would be a “market pleasing” result with a corresponding shareprice increase you think? I feel, given that roughly half of any award is taken by arbitrators, we need $40-50 mio for it to move this significantly up. Less than that would pretty much send the signal that countries don’t need to honour their agreements and get away with it cheaply’ish

Superritch, you may right of-course, but assuming the Italian side have exhausted all avenues to delay (which they appear to have), The ICSID not benefitting in delaying the case (as far as I can see) and that our own lawyers only get payed upon winning (and subsequent payment of) an award, I really can’t see how and why this should drag on any further. It’s been over 4 years…

And with all of 6000 shares traded… this must be the end!!

..until we should know the outcome of arbitration. Have the euro 2020 trophy left Uk yet? If not we should keep that as guarantee of payment just to **** the Italians off.
It’s kinda nice to have a deadline which is outside of Sam Moodys control! We might actually get some news at the time it was promised this time

Sam doesn’t need to buy shares as long as he can give them to himself for free. At some point toward the endgame you’d think that we get to a point where a higher shareprice would benefit him more than the free shares he award himself. That’s probably when he would consider such a unheard of move

Oilfred, I hope my sarcasm was obvious. No I am not godders99. I can assure you I wouldn’t spend time here if I wasn’t invested, which begs the question why is he?? He is either trying to save us all from ourselves, is short/hoping to get in at a lower price or a complete nut job living is his moms basement. I’m not sure which but I suspect one of, or a combination of the two latter.
