@KevR, Mmmmmm, a good pull back and I might add more..Maybe sell some losers too, I am not expecting any news on EOG, so could sell to make use of idle cash, and maybe buy back as I suspect news eventually or at least rumors on the Iniskea JV some time..

I have other candiates too, but news maybe due anytime, He1 & QFI..

QFI down about 25%, so could make that back in days, then buy back around 1.5p,
Unsure though, that just reminded of what I remembered but had again forgot, and knew I had forgotten something that I remembered out walking lol....

Need to check for a white lie, QFI suggested testing would be complete for phase 1 morocco, before new year.
Then said fuel for testing was stuck in customs, but also said they visited the site to expedite whatever ready for fuel arriving.. Which suggests they are telling porkies, as that sounds like they were'nt ready for testing in Decemeber as required a site visit to be ready in Jan ???? So they must have known they were unlikely to be testing....???

Catching up on recent news, 88 Energy (88E) announced its placing. Up to £8.1 million at a price per share of 0.55p to fund the drilling of Hickory-1 in early March. The well is said to have been significantly de-risked by recent Pantheon Resources (PANR) drilling and flow tests, interpretation of the Icewine-1 well logs and modern Franklin Bluffs 3D seismic data and associated AVO analysis.

88E has been covered three times in the Private Blog as a company of interest: first, at around the 0.7p placing level to finance the Charlie-1 well (the share price subsequently reached a high of 1.48p prior to the spud); second, at around the 0.33p placing level to finance the Merlin-1 well (the share price subsequently reached a high of 4.7p prior to the well result); third, at around the 1.49p placing level to finance the Merlin-2 well (the share price subsequently reached a high of 2.817p prior to the spud).

We were watching ARV, but I have not the best of memories..

On He1 there is a +£100k trader, short holds at the right time, so in and out..
Thats the way, when odds are strongly in your favor and liquidity high, thinking about it liquidity is often at its best when the share is doing well....

My idea for the next 3 to 4 years..
Is not to force anything, and not to over commit.
So my initial my plan is based around spuds, with transformational prospects..

12x50% wins, x129 gain
12x55%, x192
15x55% x716

Last quarter of 2022, this was on offer,
Spuds, PRD, IOG, DELT, ECO
PRD, that offered 80% from placing, then 100% from duster bounce, so could have been 2x 50%
IOG, offered 100% from duster bounce, and has hit bad news again so another low
DELT, still going, +50%, before spud, then again after drop and announcing extended testing
ECO, in early, 100%

I played PRD had 80%, but surprise second raise news arrived, so took 50%.
Watch the others, as got caught on EOG spud, bad timing and 50% loss.

He1 has taught me new companies have the grace of not initially having to prove their track record..
The other thing being you need to find a company with a good track record..lol

Tro as added the importance of volume, that gets the shares on cbnc, and attracts the herd
That also brings to light the herd, as BOIL shows their part in multi-bagging

COPL, PRD IOG highlights gains from bad news, caused by over done drops..
But still a lot to learn there..
ADV, ,failed and so did the dead cat bounce...

Its a hard place to learn, BB try to keep it to that share, all one sided, which seems backed by lse posting rules.
And I find, nobody outside of this forum, in the real world is interested, not my social circles anyway.
Then so much of how things works seems a mystery,
Even if you follow the main stream ftse stocks, its as if your being fed news that signals a buy while all the time you can see change coming, then when you believe that change was a misconception, you buy to be hit with the bad news..
You have been buying while the big guns were busy off-loading before they release the bad...

My first penny stock SYME, the financial company the was going to shake up the world, totally nonsense. So much promised in the RNS updates that appears to have been fictitious.. So there is little regulation here..

I still occasionally follow Syme, from when it was 0.5p, nothing has turned out has claimed, all the tech platforms that were in place, created by the company, seem to be fictitious, as third parties seem to slowly be providing what they claimed to have in place.. all the clients, and their associated funders, all had non disclosure clauses apparently, there is no proof they ever existed, as they never happened... still going, same narrative.. amazing..
Expensive lesson that one..

Not sure AIM is about investing, more trading, at times brutal if your on the wrong side of news..other times amazing gains if you dont get talked into holding long term, and then caught by the bad news... lol

Expensive place to learn..
