Tobacco has never been a really popular sector so PE's and Divi's have always looked reasonably attractive. More ethical investors have been steering clear for a long time but I have noticed growing regulatory pressure on financial firms and where they invest their customers money.

Tobacco wouldn't be high on the list of 'sustainable investments' and thus market forces could be being interfered with. I don't know for sure but I'd imagine large with profits funds and other such arrangements have been tweaking holdings over the last year to satisfy regulators in this regard, buying clean energy and sustainability contributory holdings and letting go of stocks that have less clean reputations. My theory has paid off in terms of the switch I've made to these areas with Impax Environmental and iShares Global Clean Energy but I've not been able to resist some cash generative, high yielding stocks such as IMB that seem to have fallen too far to add a different dynamic to my portfolio.

It's my own view but I thought I'd share this insight.

Everyone on the BT board is excited about the super deduction rules and the price has shot up. Given National Grid has to make some significant investment I am wondering why there is not a more positive reaction on this board? Anyone ideas? He has a board to which he is accountable. Write to board members if you want to vent your frustrations but we have investments coming good and actions in the next 6 months will be the test. Like many on here I have added in the anticipation and will not be happy if this doesn't come good given all the opportunities.

The company was floated too early without enough capital and a CEO imo who has struggled with the commercial aspects of the business. Great tech, good ideas, lack of execution is my summary. Should have cut my losses years ago but some green shoots showing again and an improved management team.

Slightly disappointing although the loss of £400k revenue in April clearly swung the business from a good result to an okay result. I guess you have to take an okay result in this climate although there is only 6 weeks of the crisis so far baked in.

Growth in US is making up for the poorer performance in Safetell, although some positive noises around how a less stable economy might lead to more security conscious customers isn't everyone binning cash and therefore does the inevitable happen to that business?

Cash falling is a concern. No dividend is a blow. Need more RNS contract wins to raise the price from here. HOLD.

Have to agree, it is like orders are being filled with the mm's attempting to bring in sellers without too much noise avoiding the price spiking upwards. Sustained volume buying and modest upward rises is the best way to rise.

Don't think they can buy anymore without making an offer for all the shares. Ask price moved up again which is lovely to see. Bid at 1.23 in the open market, have cancelled my 1.25 order, awaiting another move upwards.

I believe the market makers are short on stock with buyers waiting, hence the big leap in the ask price and now creeping up the bid. I have set trade at 1.25p for a sell of 250,000 shares so let's see if I can get that. Still holding 3.5m shares so just a dabble.

I think I'd say everything has changed. Some real income behind these announcements that now makes it massively undervalued.
