Whatamess, I disagree with you, I believe the new lockdown is priced in on todays drop. The continued vaccine rollout will hold up the price, its PIs panick selling that may drive the price down further.

Good post trading places, I nearly sold out some today, these may drop down a bit further but I don't think many will be surprised with a full national lockdown. I personally welcome a lockdown for a number of weeks and get this virus under control and give time to get the vaccine out there. I've no intention of selling up, with recent loan to BA, IAG have plenty of money to keep going. This will rebound and holders here will be rewarded!! Don't panic, it will take several years to get back to pre pandemic levels but it will and when it does, I'm hoping to be laughing at least doubling if not tripling current SP!! GL All!!

More cases of Covid and talk of national lockdown may stop the rise, but as markets are forward looking I think back up towards 165-170 mark.

SP on Monday I think maybe back to 165-170 levels. Increased Covid levels may dappen investors appetite but I feel as stockmarket genuinely forward looking, with news of extra funding, this should move back up to 170 mark.

Good post Peakhope, surely it's the proof of concept is most important, the numbers will now come as we have a concept now proven! The interview will be interesting, so glad I'm investeded here a good chunk of my money, should hopefully do very well, which I am confident it will. GL All!!

With the extra funding in place as long as no further surprises with Covid, then I think towards £1.75. The Government backed loan is good news and this together with increased momentum in vaccination rollout and Brexit completed, should drive the FTSE100 up and hopefully IAG!! People will be kicking the door down for a holiday, so I'm assuming IAG will be taking in lots of revenue in forward bookings!! Hopefully we're in a good place for flying by summer months in time for peak season. Exciting year ahead I think this stock will be one of the growth stories of the stock market in 2021!! I'm remaining invested and have nearly reached my average GL All!!

I was thinking the same, this is good news though and means IAG remains well funded and won't have to do another RI anytime soon. Those who sold at 170 and bought back in before close on New Years Eve did well. This Share should tick up nicely in the new year with traders back on Monday and hopefully light at the end of the tunnel with regards Covid!! I wouldn't be surprised to see an RNs released on the 5th Jan ahead of the scheduled interview. That way something solid to start off the new year with!!

Timed it slightly wrong with top up at 0.063 but I'm okay with that, still up overall.

Good post Fishbourne, I pulled out at a loss in Feb and waited until market settled to put back in. Invested mainly in travel stocks as these seem to be one of the last main areas not to recover. Average here brought down but still at 1.72, was alot higher. Hopefully brexit done should help many here together with light at the end of the tunnel (hopefully) with Covid!! Holders here will do fine, it will just take a few years of patience and then clear skies ahead!! GL All investors!! Be lucky in 2021!!

Robbyw, I see a lot priced in already as markets are forward looking and were expecting a brexit deal so a lot of the rise was on earlier last week. I think with the Oxford vaccine likely to get approval anytime and also then UK parliament voting through the brexit trade deal (I'm assuming they will £1.85 mark and then in the new year with renewed confidence and general movement on the FTSE heading behind £2+. I haven't been brave enough to trade these recently but may try with a small amount and see how I get on. We will know shortly what the market thinks when it opens tomorrow, although I think subdued trading in the days between Xmas and New Year. 2021 will be interesting and hopefully positive movement out of this Covid crisis and steeping towards normality. I think the price got to max 750, but possibly a little less. I've held IAG a number of years and sold a tranche at 720. They certainly never got to £10 a share.

@Bull good Post, IAG would have to get to around £4.50 now considering the extra shares to equal pre rights price. It all depends on what happens with Covid, assuming that pandemic gets under control I think definitely 2023-24 and as you say mixture of dividends in the mix!! Will be interesting to see what happens. GL All!!

Just out of interest, if we were to come back to this board this time next year, has anyone got views on where they think the SP will reach in 12 mths time?

@Bull, I certainly don't think IAG will hit an all time high next year, that will take a few years, but with a much leaner and trimmer airlines within the group, a new one joining the stables, increased confidence in flying building up, hopefully with wider and faster vaccine rollout, I'm hoping some return to normality by end of 2021 if not sooner. I think 22-23 and we should be back towards normal. My own views. Then serious profits!! I'm holding long term, looking forward to clear skies ahead!!!

Good post Livestock, I read this already but it just shows that IAG will most certainly be one of the top FTSE 100 stock to hold in 2021!! My average is £1.74, will be holding longterm and then looking to offload some when they double. Another good stock is Lloyd's or Barclays, with Brexit deal, UK banks should hopefully recover in 2021. GL All!!

A small top up for me today, been watching here closely so starting to build my position, average just over 13p per share. What's peoples views for 2021? Continued steady growth or big rerate due?
