I would agree, you don't get rise like that unless something seriously cooking!! Testing at the airports certainly has been hitting the news but I wouldn't be suprised for a decent RNS to land tomorrow am, its Thursday after all!! What a day, wow!!

Does anyone know are Avacta going to be getting involved in airline testing of passengers? Surely a 10 minute test is the way forward?

I reckon its Avacta that will be involved in the testing at Heathrow. Interesting few weeks ahead!!

I wouldn't be suprised Captinstanley that we get news around the time we're due to come out of lockdown and significant news!!

It would be great to get a decent RNS through to settle the nerves, holding firm still but real patience required!! When Avacta finally deliver, expecting the news to absolutely rocket the current SP!!

It will be great if this is the transformational week, we wait and see, patience required.

Good post Wasu, my average here still in the 170s but managed to buy a shed load around early 90s and participated in the rights issue. I'm confident once further news on more vaccines out together with proper testing regimes at airports, the SP here should march up towards £2.00+. I've no doubt once there is mass testing at airports and quarantine duration then reduced down, IAG along with other airlines, travel stocks etc will all tick up nicely. I'm holding for the long term here. Any further news with Air Europa? If IAG get this and Norwegian go under, coming out of the pandemic, they will be a much leaner and trimmer airline and ready for take off (pun intended). GL All!!

Good spot Sheltie, I remain fully invested. Once the euphoria of the vaccine news calms down a bit, the harsh reality should settle nerves of investors tha Testing is still needed. Avacta are going to deliver and I wouldn't be suprised to see the SP return back to at least 150s soon. The Airpoets, leisure industries, work places, transport sector, health care will be crying out for rapid testing. GL All, positive week ahead!!!

I think with decent news, we will be way past 1.90, hoping to double that or more!! Not that long left in Q4, so we should be hearing soon!!

I have a feeling and I may be totally wrong on this!!! We will hear news on Avacta to tie in with England coming out of lockdown in early Dec, possibly maybe end of Nov. Also I feel there will be multiple positive updates. When this happens, those that have remain invested, me included or top up or just hold at current prices will do very well!!
