Miaiagi365, I totally agree with you, my timing for a top up has been awkful, but I'm confident for longterm recovery in all travel stocks!!

I'm well down here, the thing to do is to hedge your bets im invested in Avacta, assuming they deliver then my losses in IAG more than covered, going to be turbulent week on the markets though!!

Whatamess, I diasagree people will panic this week for sure, but the market likes some level of certainty, we are still awaiting a proper regime and testing, I agree with you price will drop but not for weeks and weeks. Given IAG were only flying 30% of their schedule in low season price will recover, the big question will we come out of lockdown early Dec? Will the rapid tests be here this side of Xmas, where are the infection rates. I believe the markets were most likely expecting UK to follow suit and now we now they have, this should provide some certainty rather than will we lock down or not. We will need to see how the week plays out, SP will most certainly be heading lower tomorrow, but I expect a recovery by end of the week I think to high 80s. GL All!!

Agree, I think there will be a dip initially as investors panic, but a lockdown was on the cards. So hoping there will be a recovery by end of this week!! Going to be a choppy week!!

Maybe a dip on Monday to how 80s but to be honest I reckon this is no surprise to the markets. A proper lockdown now and hopefully out of it for Xmas, we will see!!

I'm hoping 90p is the base, although we dipped slightly under, I've topped up at 91p again. The new CEO is a good guy and I have no doubt we will pull through this, just think of all the pent up demand, the world can't go on like this forever!!

I think most of the news already priced in, I particularly liked the wording below:

Cost reduction actions implemented across the Group, including employee cost reductions in Spain through the use of ERTE arrangements and wage support schemes in Ireland and the UK, together with supplier cost reductions, leading to cash operating costs for quarter 3 reducing by 54 per cent from original plans to €205 million per week.

Reducing costs by 54 per cent in Q3 was good to read. I think the overall market sentiment at the moment may drag this down but I think 90p is our base, we will see. Long term holders will be fine, we need to get testing underway at the airports and a vaccine out, we will no doubt face a fair bit of turbulence over the coming months before we reach clear skies, but when we do, I have no doubt this share will fly.

I remain confident that Avacta is going to deliver, the test released has to be at the right standard, we've been told by end of Q4, so we should get an update at some stage to at least say we are on track working to this milestone. I remain invested, with more of the country going to level 3 and possibly national lockdown, this test can't come soon enough and I have no doubt will be a gold standard to unlock UK out of this terrible situation we are all faced by. What's people's overall thoughts on the results and where do we see the SP heading today?

Any views on how tomorrow will go with the results out? We of course know a large amount of news so far, so this would be the forward bookings and cash burn information we will be updated on. I'm tempted for a further top up, but think will wait by the sidelines, got my average down but still at 1.73. Long term holding so no worries it will pick back up, will just take time!!

I topped up yesterday, missed the low but got in at just over 94p. I think it is already priced in that UK will have to go back to full lockdown. Better to do this now and get the virus under control again. Will be interesting to see the cash burn when full results are out. GL All.

Anyone got a link to the full David Wilson webinar / interview? I would be interested in listening to this. With markets in turmoil today, I think Avacta held up very well.

I said my comment tongue in cheek Rorkesdrift, as I couldn't believe people here were panicking, when people were selling, I was topping up!! This company will be huge and I have absolutely no doubt at all will deliver. Thank you to those serious contributions on here, glad I remain invested and looking forward to the ride ahead!!! Its going to be one hell of a journey and god knows what price the SP will get to, it won't be at the current levels, that's for certain!!
