Its all about sentiment, once everyone calms down re the vaccine and people (media) realise the silver bullet isn't here just yet, then testing will be back on the agenda, particularly for the travel industry. I'm well down but I'm not selling and topped up on the drop bringing down my average.

Good post Sagetrade, I share your sentiments, but I do believe Acacta won't miss the train on Covid. We will hear something from Covid and it will be good but an RNS is most definitely due to update on progress and hopefully provide the solid reassurance we all need. I have no doubt about the quality of this company, but it is frustrating not hearing news!! GL All!!

A great article in the telegraph today re testing and particularly airline sector shouting out for this. It will be a while before decent vaccine gets to everyone, airlines want testing now to unlock travel to millions and get world economies moving again, saving remaining jobs and the whole airline industry from going under.

Does this tie in with the Avacta timeliness for delivery, RNS by end of Q4 and delivery Q1 next year. I thought the Avacta test was 10 mins. I would happily settle though for 15 mins!!

When you turn up at a party, you always arrive fashionably late and make an entrance when the party is in full swing!! Avacta will be at this party and everyone will know about us when we deliver the best test of them All. GL All, exciting days and weeks ahead. 26th Nov is my birthday, I've got a feel that good news may land then!! You never know!!

I reckon news before year end in a decent RNS / RNS x ?. Roll out Q1 next year!! I'm still here and believe in Avacta!! GL All investors here, been a bumpy few days, took the opportunity to top up, when I missed the big drop!! I'm confident it will pay off!!

I think when euphoria of yesterday's vaccine news dies down, the reality will kick in that Avacta is still on track for delivering. There is a massive need to test in reality likely to be next summer before all of UK gets vaccinated. I missed the timing of the drop yesterday so nursing 50% down, so took opportunity to top up today to bring my average down to 1.46p. I still believe this little gem will deliver and I think many others do too!! A loss isn't a loss until it is realised and you sell up. Just need a decent RNS to land and this will fly. GL All!!

It will be interesting to see what happens this morning , having a HL account, I managed to buy for tranches of Avacta shares as I thought the initial top up hadn't gone through!!! I saw many others here had similar issue either on sales or purchases. That may explain a lot of additional sales!! Expecting a rebound today, nothing has changed with the company itself!! I'm confident Avacta will deliver on Covid, having competition though will absolutely focus the CEO to deliver Q4 as promised, otherwise massive opportunity lost on Covid that would of course propel the company massively in generating huge revenues to use towards the pioneering Cancer treatments. Covid is the opportunity now, longterm its its potential cancer treatments that Alistair is gunning for as the true prize!! GL to all investors here, an exciting company here to be invested in game changing technology for the future!!!

Should be up tomorrow, alot of people panicked today!! Very hard to buy or sell today on HL!! We still need testing its going to take time to get a workable vaccine to everyone. Although looking promising results are still preliminary!! Testing still required for now. I would love an RNS to drop this week saying we have delivered here!! I still believe there is a need for our product and it will be delivered!!

I've the exact same issue, ended up selling BP stock I had 4 times and buying for transactions of shares here. I've tried contacting HL was unable to get through!!

Going mad today, glad I loaded up on travel stocks!!

I'm staying invested here, once that all important RNS lands then its booooooom!!!!!! SP will go through the roof, it will be worth the wait!! The fact that the SP has stabilized is good. The good this company will do will go a long way to unlock the current status quo and bring us back to a sense of normality!! If its good enough for Myles, its certainly good enough for me!! Travel stocks one of the areas that haven't really recovered for obvious reasons. Johnbri4 you will do okay, I see IAG at least x 2 to x 3 on SP from here. Sure it will take a few years but you will do fine!! Once decent covid tests out and routes open up, very confident IAG will do well. GL All!!

Good post Captain, I wouldn't be suprised at all if we hear news at the start of Dec when the English lockdown is due to end. The SP seems to have steadied quite nicely around the 170p mark. No doubt a large number of investors remain confident and I remain fully invested myself. The SP will hit to the moon when finally Avacta announces that we are ready, 'the Eagle has landed!!'. Exciting few weeks ahead and Boris will be confident of a total gamechanger ahead and people get to have some sort of Christmas, alas it won't be like we usually have, but at least we will get to celebrate in someway! GL to all investors here, not long now to the Christmas number 1!!!

This will help reduce costs and large amounts of remaining staff now furloughed!!
